Buenavista Golf (18 holes, par 72)

Designed by Severiano Ballesteros and opened in 2003, the golf course is situated in the north-west corner of Tenerife, within the naturally-beautiful Isla Baja area. Five of its holes are located so close to the cliff edges that players feel as though they are hitting the ball directly into the ocean. The 9th and 15th holes are noted for their beauty. This impressive golf course is complemented by a nearby five-star hotel Meliá Hacienda del Conde Golf & Spa Resort.

Real Club de Golf de Tenerife

(18 holes, par 71)

Located in Tacoronte (north), designed by A. Alberto, A. Lucena, Joaquín Laynez and Aureliano Yanes, and opened in 1932, this is Spain’s second oldest golf course which preserves a typically British air of distinction.

The club is open for visitors on weekdays. The golf course is situated about 600 and 750 metres above sea level and features a great collection of trees which are perfectly incorporated into the design of the course.

The 17th hole is the most spectacular on the island. Starting on a high surface area, it has a gradient of about 40 metres to the green and boasts spectacular views of the sea and the mountains. The hole offers several playing options depending on the level of the golfer.

Centro de Golf Los Palos

(9 holes, par 27)

Located in Arona (south), designed by Integral Golf Design (José María Olazábal) and opened in 1994, this course is located in an accessible area protected from the wind. It is well-known for its excellent service and professional staff. During their round, players will find several waterfalls and lakes surrounded by a great diversity of flora and wildlife.

It is the first golf course in Europe with paspalum, an ideal plant to withstand salt water, typical on the island. Its greens featuring TifEagle Bermudagrass, add firmness and speed, qualities loved by golfers. During their round of golf, players can enjoy the beauty of the native flora. Its 4th hole, one of Europe’s most photographed, inspired the slogan “the limit of the course is the Atlantic”, used by the island to promote itself as a golf destination. Opened in 1998, it hosted the Spanish Open in 2003 and the Spanish Ladies Open in 2014.

Abama Golf (18 holes, par 72)
