The five-star Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús is located in a privileged setting on the beachfront and less than a 15-minute walk from the elite and cosmopolitan centre of Puerto Banús. It is also only six kilometres away from Marbella’s town centre and its picturesque old quarter with cobblestoned streets and ancient churches a wonderful place to visit. Furthermore, it offers the ideal accommodation for those who have been bitten by the golf bug: situated in the epicentre of the popular Costa del Golf, an area that is home to the highest concentration of golf courses on the continent.

Less than 15 minutes away by car is a score of top-quality courses, double that amount if we increase the driving radius to 30 minutes. The famous Golf Valley in Nueva Andalucía (Marbella), for example, is just three kilometres from Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús.

The hotel offers excellent golf packages for clients, thanks to agreements with several courses and access, if required, through transportation organised by the hotel.

Featuring a definitive colonial style, the hotel comprises 180 exclusive rooms, double rooms and suites, decorated with tasteful materials and luxury finishes, and offering superb views of the Mediterranean Sea in a private and relaxing atmosphere. They are elegantly designed and equipped with every comfort. The rooms have large terraces, some with jacuzzi and solarium on the top floor.

In this magnificent five-star hotel, clients can enjoy exclusive and varied gastronomic options in an idyllic space on the beachfront, close to Puerto Banús. The hotel offers haute cuisine restaurants and exclusive bars, plus a beach lounge, outdoor pool, solarium, pool bar, fitness centre, oriental spa (offering massages, beauty treatments and other relaxing activities) and a shopping arcade.

Culinary Showcase

As explained by director Ramón Pons, a key element in Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús comprehensive range of services is gastronomy, with an exclusive array of restaurants, all of them open to the public. In what could be described as the hotel's gastronomic boulevard, at the foot of the seafront and just a few metres from the beach, three superb restaurants complement each other in perfect harmony.

Trattoria  Il Mare is highlighted by an original Tuscany style and offers a selection of typical antipasti, fresh homemade pasta, risottos, pizzas, fish and meats, all cooked following delicious traditional Italian recipes, and an assortment of rich desserts. In recognition of its excellent quality, last year Trattoria il Mare was named by Málaga culinary critics as the province’s finest Italian restaurant. It is open from 7pm till 1.30am.

La Brasería is another of the hotel’s restaurants, on this occasion focused on a charcoal grill and top-quality products, all prepared using refined preparation and cooking techniques. Grilled delicacies are the star dishes, but not the only ones. In addition to grilled specialities from the sea and mountains, diners will find a diverse choice of Mediterranean classics.

During the summer months there are live musical live performances. The restaurant is open from 7pm till 11pm.

The third restaurant on Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús’s gastronomic boulevard is Jetame, which takes its name from the first letters of three international cuisines: Japanese, Thai and Mediterranean. A fresh and pleasant fusion of Asian and Mediterranean gastronomy that floods the palate with delicious sensations, in an exceptional setting with chill-out music.

Complementing these three restaurants, and located next to them, is the Moët & Chandon Beach Lounge. During mornings, this is the reference point for a day on the beach while, at the end of the day, it becomes a place to enjoy the sunset, the calm of the sea, and relaxing late afternoons and early evenings. An elegant and sophisticated lounge, it honours its associated brand by offering a chilled bottle of champagne, a relaxing coffee, a sumptuous cocktail or a delicious long drink.

It is the ideal setting, at the end of the evening after a superb dinner, to relax accompanied by the Mediterranean’s famed evening breeze. Or simply to spend the afternoon reclining on a sun bed accompanied by chill-out music and beautiful sea views. It remains open from 11am till 1.30am.
