Opened for play in 2006, Doña Julia is a par-72, 6,205-metre course extending over 559,700 square metres. If one feature were to be highlighted it would have to be the size of the greens: an average 900 square metres each and a total surface area of approximately 18,000 square metres. With 11 of the 18 holes elevated and featuring the sea as a backdrop – looking out over the Straits of Gibraltar and, on a clear day, Ceuta – the course is both picturesque and, at least to the senses, expansive.
HOW TO GET THERE
