VALLE ROMANO & GOLF RESORT

Valle Romano Golf & Resort located at the foot of the Sierra Bermeja mountain range, the course extends over 60 hectares, with a very gentle topography and native vegetation. The greens are large and undulating, American-style – the work of Cabell B. Robinson, one the world’s leading golf course designers. The course is a par-72 for regular play and par-71 for competition. It also has a superb golf school with practice ground. The course brings together various unique features highlighted by its design, geographical location and sustainability priorities. Not only does it fulfil the requirements of current environmental norms but – during construction – it was also committed to preserving the maximum area of vegetation possible, as a refuge for native flora and fauna. One of the course’s main objectives was for it to be enjoyed by all players, from the lowest to the highest handicaps. To that end, an average of five tee areas have been built on each hole, and the expansive greens average out at 500 square metres – with some up to 1,000 square metres. Featuring moderate but prolonged slopes, and numerous pin positions, the greens are set up to enable each hole to be easy to play or extremely difficult.
