Aloha, one of the best known courses on the Costa del Sol, was designed by Javier Arana and features a wide variety of holes. Most of the fairways are fairly wide, though danger lurks on either side, but the greens are tricky, especially the par-five 10th with its adjacent lake. In recent years the club has benefitted from several improvements, namely replanted fairways and a refurbishment of the clubhouse and changing rooms. Aloha is a private club but welcomes visitors all year round. In 2007 and 2008 the club hosted the Andalucian Open, on the European Tour.
