Five top golfing personalities have been named for induction into Florida’s World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum in 2017. Henry Longhurst, Davis Love III, Meg Mallon, Lorena Ochoa and Ian Woosnam will be formally enshrined at the induction ceremony next September.

Briton Longhurst was a weekly columnist for the London Sunday Times for 40 years and provided coverage for the BBC from the 1950s until his death in 1978; American Meg Mallon won 18 LPGA Tour titles and four major championships during her illustrious career; Davis Love III (United States) has notched 22 victories including the 1997 PGA Championship and recently captained the victorious 2016 Ryder Cup team; one-time world number one Lorena Ochoa (Mexico) finished with 27 victories on the LPGA Tour, including two Grand Slams; and Ian Woosnam (Wales) won the 1991 US Masters and led the Official World Golf Rankings for 50 weeks through 1991 and 1992.
