The Costa del Sol Tourism Board has launched an innovative new website that showcases the Coast’s 70-plus golf courses. Officially presented during the International Golf Travel Market in Palma de Mallorca, Costa del Golf 360º was described as “a pioneering digital tool which is set to revolutionise how the consumer plans a golfing holiday”.

The site (wwww.costadelgolf360.com) offers stunning interactive images of the more than 70 golf courses available on the Costa del Sol. Specialist tour operators and golf resorts warmly praised the initiative, noting that it would be a valuable instrument for the promotion of the destination, offering state-of-the-art, high resolution images, and creating a totally immersive and interactive experience to be used on any mobile device.

Peter Walton, chief executive and founder of the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO, organiser of the IGTM), said, “Great imagery lies at the heart of golf tourism promotion so I was delighted to see tonight that the Costa del Sol has taken this to a whole new level by producing these wonderful 360-degree experiences of over 70 golf courses throughout the region. This is a great development and will whet the appetite of every golf traveller.”
