Robinson, other top sports amenities, a luxury hotel and a sumptuous spa. What is perhaps less known, at least among those not familiar with the resort, is that it offers exceptional culinary options, either a light meal before or after a round of golf, or a fine dining experience in a stunning setting and ambience. <\/p>\n<p>Last week, a select group of journalists specialising in golf, leisure and gastronomy (including Andaluc\u00eda Golf) were invited to see first-hand why La Cala is so much more than golf. During a special fam trip organized by the resort, the media representatives enjoyed a glass of cava in the hotel&#8217;s Naranjo lobby bar as they were welcomed by sales and marketing manager Noem\u00ed Rom\u00e1n. <\/p>\n<p>They then adjourned to the clubhouse restaurant El Laurel, where ma\u00eetre d&#8217;h\u00f4tel and food and beverage manager Francesc Hormigo was waiting with his team to offer an exquisite tasting menu created by executive chef Iv\u00e1n \u00c1lvarez Santamar\u00eda (both pictured below).
