Jos\u00e9<\/span> <\/span>Mateo Mateo and Sara Navarro Morilla have been proclaimed winners of the Huelva Championship 2013.<\/span>, <\/span>scoring test for the Absolute and Junior Ranking of Andalusia, which has been played, one more season, in the magnificent facilities of Bellavista Huelva Golf Club.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the Ladies category, Sara Navarro has repeated the first place that already harvested in the last edition. The player from Malaga, with a record of 158 strokes (76+82), continues her good moment of play that has recently led her to achieve the sixth place in the Women’s Andalusian Cup and win the Andalusian Women’s Pitch & Putt Championship. <\/p>\n

The runner-up, <\/span>, 3 strokes behind the leader, was the local golfer Carolina Ronchel Salas, and in third place, with two rounds of 83 strokes, Isabel Bascuas Marcuello finished.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, in the Gentlemen’s category, Jos\u00e9Mateo and<\/span> V\u00edctor Pastor Rufi\u00e1n finished the 36 holes tied at 143 strokes, so they had to play a play-off play-off from which the winner was the first of them.<\/p>\n

The third place, one stroke away from becoming the third player to dispute this sudden death, went to Antonio Morillo-Velarde Fuentes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding the handicap classifications, Borja Cabello Giacalone and Inmaculada Ortiz Prieto were the best with 141 and 136 net strokes, respectively.<\/p>\n

At <\/span>end of the competition, the awards ceremony was held in the presence of Manuel Garvayo, Acting President of the Children and Youth Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Felix Garcia, Vice President of Bellavista Huelva Golf Club; Gabriel Torres, Chairman of the Competition Committee of the club dean of golf in Andalusia; and Jesus Calvo, Chief Referee of the championship.<\/p>\n
