The Andalusian Pitch & Putt has once again demonstrated the great momentum it is going through with the celebration of the <\/span>U-16 Andalusian Championship <\/strong>in the Malaga layout of the <\/span>Real Club de Golf Guadalmina.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A total of 75 young golfers of categories Cadet, Infantile, Alev\u00edn and Benjam\u00edn have taken part in a tournament that has been disputed to 36 holes under the Stroke Play format, except the benjamines that have played two rounds of 9 holes.<\/p>\n

As for the Scratch classifications, all have been decided by a narrow margin. Thus, Jos\u00e9 Miguel Argenta Garc\u00eda <\/strong>has been proclaimed Absolute champion of Andalusia U-16 and in turn of the Children’s category, with a single stroke of advantage over Felipe Barrena Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Also with that minimal difference, Beltr\u00e1n Fern\u00e1ndez Barbadillo <\/strong>has beaten Valentina Albertazzi <\/strong>in the Alev\u00edn category, and Daniel Casas Bagherian <\/strong>has won over Pablo Hidalgo Portillo<\/strong> in the Benjam\u00edn category.<\/p>\n

Even more evenly matched was the Cadet category, where David Lopez Romero<\/strong> and Calvin John Greschner <\/strong>had to play a play-off in which the Cordovan player finally came out the winner on the first hole.<\/p>\n

As for the handicap winners, Teresa L\u00f3pez de Coca P\u00e9rez <\/strong>won in the Cadet category.<\/p>\n

Pablo Hidalgo, with a hole in one, has benefited from the difference in handicap to break the tie at 46 net strokes with Julia L\u00f3pez Ram\u00edrez <\/strong>in the Benjamin category.<\/p>\n

Other players who concluded the competition with a hole-in-one on their card were David Waller Torras<\/strong> and Emilio Alonso Saucedo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Finally, completing the list of winners, Saida Fern\u00e1ndez Real <\/strong>(Infantil) and Jonah Fernandes <\/strong>(Alev\u00edn) <\/strong>won their respective categories.<\/p>\n

As a culmination of the Andalusian Championship of Pitch & Putt U-16, the awards ceremony was held in the presence of Antonio Fuentes<\/strong>, Acting President of the P&P Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation<\/strong>; Patricia Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, Secretary of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina; and Blanca Hermana<\/strong>, Chief Referee of the competition.<\/p>\n
