Guadalhorce Golf Club <\/strong>has been proclaimed winner of the <\/span>Men’s Interclubs Championship of Andalucia <\/strong>in a competition held in its own course during two days.<\/span><\/p>\n

The foursome formed by Carlos Segura Oliva<\/strong>, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Manzanares Nieto<\/strong>, Eduardo Mart\u00edn-Montalvo Santillana<\/strong> and Salvador Oliva Calder\u00f3n <\/strong>was in third position after a first round played under the Foursome modality.<\/p>\n

On the second and final day, the local team catapulted to first place thanks to excellent rounds under par by Carlos Segura (70 strokes) and Eduardo Mart\u00edn-Montalvo (71 strokes).<\/p>\n

Thus, Guadalhorce Club de Golf, with a total of 375 accumulated strokes, left the victory at home and won its second absolute title after the one obtained in 1997.<\/p>\n

Also, this team will be subsidized by the Men’s Technical Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation <\/strong>to participate in the Men’s Interclub Championship of Spain<\/strong>, which will be played between September 26 and 29<\/strong> at the Real Club de Golf de Pedre\u00f1a<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The second place, two strokes behind the winners, went to the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina <\/strong>team formed by Casto G\u00f3mez Ruiz<\/strong>, Antonio Cruz-Conde Rodr\u00edguez-Guerra<\/strong>, Haiko Dana <\/strong>and Javier Luque Fernandez-Regatillo<\/strong>. In addition to the runner-up, this team won the first handicap category with a total of 363 net strokes. <\/p>\n

In the second Scratch category, the first place went to another foursome from the Real Club de Guadalmina. Francisco Bernal Quir\u00f3s<\/strong>, Sebasti\u00e1n Pe\u00f1a Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, Francisco Casta\u00f1o Bardisa<\/strong> and Francisco Jes\u00fas Mart\u00edn Ram\u00edrez <\/strong>were at the top of the classification from the first day, and in the final round, they certified their victory with a record of 414 strokes.<\/p>\n

Finally, in the second handicap category, Guadalhorce Club de Golf rounded off its great role in this competition with the outstanding victory of the team composed of Pablo Alonso Rosado<\/strong>, V\u00edctor Jim\u00e9nez Bravo<\/strong>, Juli\u00e1n Li\u00f1\u00e1n Recuenco <\/strong>and Alfonso Monllor Lazarraga<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After the twenty participating teams finished this fun and exciting day of golf, the awards ceremony began with the presence, among others, of Manuel Garvayo<\/strong>, Acting President of the Men’s Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, Salvador Alvarez<\/strong>, Managing Director of Guadalhorce Club de Golf, and Alfonso Barrionuevo<\/strong>, Chief Referee of the championship.<\/p>\n
