Jos\u00e9 Mateo Mateo <\/strong>y<\/span> Mar\u00eda Teresa Toscano Borrero<\/strong> were the winners of the thirty-third edition of the <\/span>Championship of Huelva<\/strong>The event, which counts towards the Men’s, Women’s and Junior Rankings of Andalusia, concluded today at the <\/span>Bellavista Golf Club <\/strong>(Aljaraque). <\/span>In the men’s category, Jos\u00e9 Mateo was the great protagonist of the first day after signing a sensational round of 66 strokes (-4) that allowed him to stand at the top of the table.<\/span><\/p>\n

Already in the final round, the golfer from Cadiz has delivered a card of 71 strokes (+1) to certify, with enormous authority, his second consecutive victory in the tournament.<\/p>\n

Second place, six strokes behind the champion, went to Enrique Mar\u00edn Santander<\/strong>, while local player Jos\u00e9 Carlos \u00c1lvarez Parralo <\/strong>took third place with 144 strokes.<\/p>\n

In the women’s section, local golfer Carolina Ronchel Salas <\/strong>concluded the first day at the top of the ranking with a round of 74 strokes.<\/p>\n

In the second and final day, the also local Maria Teresa Toscano<\/strong> has been unhooked with a round of 72 strokes that has climbed to the first position with a total of 149 strokes.<\/p>\n

Second place, three strokes behind the winner, went to Carolina Ronchel, and Lucila Puente Rodriguez of Austria<\/strong> finished third with a cumulative 155 strokes.<\/p>\n

As for the handicap rankings, the players of the host club have added new victories by Antonio Leandro Vieira <\/strong>(133 net strokes) and Constanza Guerrero Bola\u00f1os <\/strong>(141).<\/p>\n

The awards ceremony was attended by Candelaria Flores<\/strong>, President of the Women’s Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Luis Mansilla<\/strong>, President of the RFGA Men’s Committee; Francisco Puente<\/strong>, President of the RFGA Children and Youth Committee; Carlos Ortega<\/strong>, President of Bellavista Golf Club; Juan Manuel Padilla<\/strong>, President of the Competition Committee of the dean club of Andalusian golf; and Jes\u00fas Calvo<\/strong>, Chief Referee of the competition.<\/p>\n

Once again this season, the Huelva Championship has counted with the collaboration of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation<\/strong> and the Huelva Provincial Council.<\/strong><\/p>\n
