Francisco Cabeza Balenzategui<\/strong> has won with great mastery in the seventh edition of the <\/span>Andalusian Men’s Pitch & Putt Championship<\/strong>which took place during two days in the Malaga course of <\/span>Alhaur\u00edn Golf Hotel & Resort<\/strong>. <\/span>In the first 18 holes, the player with federative license by <\/span>Guadalhorce Golf Club <\/strong>delivered an extraordinary card of 50 strokes (-4) that placed him leader, sharing the first place with the local golfer Luis Macho Lasso de la Vega. <\/span>Luis Macho Lasso de la Vega<\/strong>. <\/span> <\/p>\n

In the second and final round, Francisco Cabeza<\/strong> repeated his result and with a total of 100 strokes (-8) was proclaimed the new Andalusian champion of this golf variant.<\/p>\n

Thus, Francisco Cabeza succeeds Enrique Mar\u00edn Santander<\/strong>, last year’s winner at Greenlife Golf Club <\/strong>with an overall score of 101 strokes.<\/p>\n

As for the rest of the classifications, Andr\u00e9s Pastor Ayll\u00f3n<\/strong>, who also signed a second round of 50 strokes, won the Senior category with an excellent 102 strokes (6 under par).<\/p>\n

Regarding the Minor category, Pedro Mar\u00edn Santander<\/strong> invested 51 strokes (-3) in his last round to finish on top of the board.<\/p>\n

Also, special mention for Andr\u00e9s Pastor<\/strong> (hole 15), Scott Christison<\/strong> (hole 7) and Tim Waller<\/strong> (hole 4), authors of three spectacular holes in one in the magnificent par 3 course of Alhaur\u00edn Golf.<\/p>\n

Finally, as for the handicap winners, Luis Macho <\/strong>was victorious in the first category with an accumulated 105 net strokes.<\/p>\n

Another local player, Javier Ramirez Rueda<\/strong>, won in second, and also topped the U16 category.<\/p>\n

At the end of the championship, there was a prize distribution and a raffle of sports equipment and green fees among all attendees. The trophy ceremony was attended by, among others, Antonio Fuentes<\/strong>, Acting President of the Pitch & Putt Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; and Isabel Moreno<\/strong>, Head of the Golf Department of Alhaur\u00edn Golf Hotel & Resort. <\/p>\n

The next events included in the RFGA P&P Committee’s program of activities will be the Andalusian Women’s Championship<\/strong> and the Andalusian Championship for the Over 35’s<\/strong>, to be held on April 5 and 6 <\/strong>at Aloha Golf<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
