{"id":14830,"date":"2014-02-06T15:39:26","date_gmt":"2014-02-06T15:39:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/golf-playa-serena-starting-point-of-the-xvii-andalucia-seniors-circuit\/"},"modified":"2014-02-06T15:39:26","modified_gmt":"2014-02-06T15:39:26","slug":"golf-playa-serena-starting-point-of-the-xvii-andalucia-seniors-circuit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/en\/golf-playa-serena-starting-point-of-the-xvii-andalucia-seniors-circuit\/","title":{"rendered":"Golf Playa Serena, starting point of the XVII Andalucia Seniors Circuit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-3228\" src=\"https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/News_primeros-clasificados-playa-serena.jpg\" border=\"0\" style=\"float: left;margin-right:10px;\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/News_primeros-clasificados-playa-serena.jpg 450w, https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/News_primeros-clasificados-playa-serena-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/>The Almeria course of the <\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Playa Serena Golf Club<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"> has repeated, once again this season, as the venue for the inaugural tournament of the <\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Andalusian Seniors Circuit<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">. <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">This annual circuit, now in its seventeenth edition, consists of eight events (<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Playa Serena, Real Club de Golf de Sevilla, Club de Campo de C\u00f3rdoba, Granada Club de Golf, Parque Deportivo La Garza, Parador de M\u00e1laga, Golf El Rompido<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"> y <\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Arcos Gardens<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">) plus the Grand Final to be held at <\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Mijas Golf<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">In Playa Serena, the event was marked by a resounding success of participation, with more than 80 players who played 18 holes under the Stableford Handicap modality.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">In the first men&#8217;s category,<strong> Gerald John Perego<\/strong> won with a total of 38 points, followed by local <strong>Miguel Eugene Hainaut<\/strong> and<strong> Carlos L\u00f3pez Bravo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><strong>Jos\u00e9 Ruiz Jim\u00e9nez,<\/strong> licensed player of the Playa Serena Golf Club, was victorious in the second men&#8217;s category with a score of 39 points.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">The second position was<strong> <\/strong>for <strong>Tony Redston<\/strong>, tied on 37 points with the also local <strong>Jos\u00e9 Miguel Garc\u00eda Ortega<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Finally, in the Ladies category, <strong>Josefa Palomo Rando <\/strong>accumulated 36 points and was three points ahead of local golfer <strong>Mar\u00eda Dolores Bab\u00f3n Sanz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">The awards ceremony was presided over by<strong> Salvador P\u00e9rez M\u00e9rida<\/strong>, Acting President of the Seniors Committee of the <strong>Royal Andalusian Golf Federation<\/strong>, and <strong>Francisco Javier Mart\u00edn Mendoza<\/strong>, Director of the Playa Serena Golf Club.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">The next tournament of the Andalucia Seniors Circuit 2014 will be held on <\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">March 1st<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"> at the<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"> Real Club de Golf de Sevilla.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Almeria course of the Playa Serena Golf Club has repeated, once again this season, as the venue for the inaugural tournament of the Andalusian Seniors Circuit.
