The <\/span>Andalusian Pitch & Putt Circuit 2013 <\/strong>held its seventh and eighth rounds of the season in two courses in Marbella: <\/span>Monte Paraiso Golf and Magna Marbella Golf<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Monte Para\u00edso, as in the previous tournament held at La Escuela P\u00fablica La Cartuja<\/strong>, the maximum equality between the main contenders for victory resulted in a tie at 50 strokes (4 under par) between Jos\u00e9 Luis L\u00f3pez Bautista and Antonio Pimentel Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong> at the top of the scratch classification.<\/p>\n

Both golfers, recent winners along with Leonardo Lilja Moyano, Jos\u00e9 L\u00f3pez Moncayo and Pedro Rodr\u00edguez Cielos<\/strong> (captain) of the Interterritorial de Espa\u00f1a de Pitch & Putt <\/strong>for the second consecutive year, also had the same handicap so, according to the rules of the competition, it was necessary to resort to the last 9 holes to tip the balance in favor of Jos\u00e9 Luis L\u00f3pez Bautista, who thus opens his locker of victories in this edition of the Circuit.<\/p>\n

As regards the handicap classifications, Sara Navarro Morilla <\/strong>benefited from the handicap difference to break a new tie, in this case at 53 net strokes, with Juan Jos\u00e9 Grande Rom\u00e1n and Ubaldina Campos Torres <\/strong>in the first category.<\/p>\n

In second, Scott Christison,<\/strong> author of a round of 48 strokes, beat a chasing quartet formed by Yolanda Padilla Dom\u00ednguez, Juan Jos\u00e9 Figueroa Jim\u00e9nez, Ricardo Rodr\u00edguez Rodr\u00edguez Rodr\u00edguez and Montserrat Garc\u00eda Tejada<\/strong> by one stroke.<\/p>\n

Once this fun and hard-fought tournament was over, the prize-giving ceremony was held in the presence of Pedro Rodr\u00edguez Cielos and Carlos Ram\u00f3n de Fata<\/strong>, members of the Pitch & Putt Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation<\/strong>, and Rafael Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, Director of Monte Para\u00edso Golf.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile,in the tournament held at Magna Marbella Golf, <\/span>Pedro and Enrique Mar\u00edn Santander <\/strong>have <\/span> topped<\/span>the scratch classification in the eighth round of the Andalusian Pitch & Putt Circuit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mar\u00edn brothers signed an identical score of 52 strokes (-2) and it was necessary to resort to the handicap difference to award the victory to Pedro, relegating Enrique, current Andalusian Pitch & Putt champion, to second place.<\/p>\n

As for the handicap classifications, in the first category, Mar\u00eda Contreras Luna <\/strong>was one stroke ahead of Luc\u00eda Jim\u00e9nez Mart\u00edn, Crist\u00f3bal Galiano Trujillano and Mar\u00eda Pilar Scenna Porcelli<\/strong>, all tied at 53 net strokes.<\/p>\n

In the second category, David Winckley, <\/strong>also with a round of 53 strokes, was the winner. Scott Christison<\/strong>, winner at Monte Para\u00edso Golf<\/strong>, was second with 55 strokes.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
