\"alt\"The Real Club de Golf Guadalmina has conquered today its third consecutive title in the Andalusian Interclubs Children and Cadet Championship, which has been held in two days full of excitement and good golf in the eighteen holes of Baviera Golf. Team B of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina -integrated by David Waller, Alejandra S\u00e1nchez de la Fuente, Alejandro Chacon and Jonah Fernandes- already finished yesterday in first position, after accumulating 161 strokes during the first day, played in Foursome Medal-Play Scratch mode. During today’s day, in which the competition has been played in individual stroke play mode, the team has added 238 strokes, for a total score of 399, which have earned Guadalmina the Championship, with 12 strokes ahead of the team of Club de Golf La Ca\u00f1ada A -formed by Mercedes Vega, Lola Garcia, Angel Ayora and Ana Sarrias- who has occupied the second place. In addition to the runner-up position, La Ca\u00f1ada also won the handicap category, thanks to the 382 net strokes delivered by the Club’s B team, made up of Sergio Berenguer, Juan Pedro Ram\u00edrez, Ra\u00fal Cervera and Mar Garc\u00eda. Special mention also for the couple formed by David Waller and Alejandra S\u00e1nchez de la Fuente, best scratch foursome round with 76 strokes, and for Mercedes Vega and Marc Waller, best individual scratch rounds, after delivering both 75 strokes today. After the competition, the awards ceremony today was attended by Fernando Pacheco, President of the Children’s Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Miguel Natoli on behalf of Baviera Golf; and Diego Molina, Chief Referee of the Championship. Real Club de Golf Guadalmina has conquered its third consecutive title, after taking the trophy in 2014 and 2015. In addition, Guadalmina is the most successful club since the trophy celebrated its first edition in 1986, with a total of eight victories. It is followed, with six wins, by La Ca\u00f1ada Golf Club. Among the players who, throughout its history, have participated and contributed to the victories of their clubs in the trophy, the names of players such as Azahara Mu\u00f1oz, \u00c1lvaro Quir\u00f3s, Noem\u00ed Jim\u00e9nez, Bel\u00e9n Mozo and Piti Mart\u00ednez Bernal, or Pablo Mart\u00edn Benavides stand out. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
