Simon Griffiths, a player who has not had an easy life in the world of golf, has achieved today his second professional victory<\/strong> and, in addition, his second in Spain. This achievement has been even more special as he has beaten great figures such as Major winners<\/strong>, Ryder Cup Captains<\/strong> and players with victories in the DP World Tour.<\/strong> A dream come true for the Briton, who until recently was caddie at his club.<\/p>\n

An epic victory against big names in golf<\/h2>\n

Although he started with a two-shot lead<\/strong> on the final day, all eyes were on Miguel Angel Jimenez<\/strong> and Colin Montgomerie<\/strong>, both favorites for the victory. The pressure was on Simon Griffiths, who never played on the European Tour<\/strong>. However, the Briton kept his concentration at all times.<\/p>\n

I don’t know what it is about Spain<\/strong>, but it’s clear that I’m good at it, I feel good, I like it… it’s very special for me”.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The player who made it more difficult for Griffiths was Scott Hend<\/strong>, who did not start as favorite, but managed the best card of the tournament<\/strong> with 10 birdies and 2 bogeys<\/strong>, signing 64 strokes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
