Repoker of aces at the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina<\/span>Chema Olaz\u00e1bal, Miguel \u00c1ngel Jim\u00e9nez, Manuel Pi\u00f1ero, Jose Mar\u00eda Ca\u00f1izares and Juan Quir\u00f3s met at the prestigious Marbella golf club for the I ProAm Memorial Miguel Sede\u00f1o. The South Course was the setting for the competition, which was followed by a lively lunch in the clubhouse. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/b>Miguel Sede\u00f1o Peri\u00e1\u00f1ez was a respected and beloved golf teacher who passed away at the age of 60. Sede\u00f1o, whose life was intimately linked to the sport from an early age, began his golfing journey at the South Course at the age of 12, under the tutelage of his father, who had been one of the workers involved in the construction of the Guadalmina course. <\/p>\n

This first contact with the sport not only allowed him to discover his passion, but also marked the beginning of a career dedicated to perfecting his game and teaching others the secrets of the sport.<\/p>\n

<\/b>At age 21, <\/span>Sede\u00f1o obtained his professional license, a milestone that consolidated his commitment to golf. Just two years later, in 1986, he received his assistant teacher’s license, and in 1987 he reached the pinnacle of his professional training by obtaining his Master of Golf license. <\/p>\n

Throughout his career, Miguel Sede\u00f1o worked at several golf clubs in El Candado Golf, in Malaga, where he quickly earned the respect of his colleagues and students for his dedication and professionalism, later, he worked at La Duquesa Golf and La AlcaIdesa Golf.<\/p>\n

<\/b>However, it was at Real Club Valderrama, one of the most prestigious courses in Spain, where Sede\u00f1o left his greatest legacy. For the last 20 years, he dedicated his life to this club, training countless golfers, both amateurs and professionals. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

<\/b>The first edition of the Miguel Sede\u00f1o Memorial ProAm was attended by many friends of the Sede\u00f1o family and some of the professionals who shared those days of passion for golf, including, as already mentioned, double Augusta Masters champion Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Olazabal, Miguel \u00c1ngel Jim\u00e9nez, the universal Malaga native with more than 20 Tour titles, Manuel Pi\u00f1ero, double world champion with Seve and with Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Ca\u00f1izares, and Juan Quir\u00f3s, <\/span>winner of four Senior PGA titles.<\/p>\n

<\/b>The passing of Miguel Sede\u00f1o Peri\u00e1\u00f1ez was a great loss to the golf community. His legacy will live on through the many players who benefited from his teaching and through the clubs that were honored to have his expertise. <\/p>\n
