In doing so, Ko snatches this privilege from Japan&#8217;s Ryo Ishikawa, who made history at the age of 15 years and eight months, when he won the Japan Open. &#8220;It&#8217;s something spectacular. I don&#8217;t really know what to say. I&#8217;m very happy and to be part of history in this way is a miracle. I have struggled a lot to achieve this,&#8221; explained the young Asian golfer after her feat. Ko is already number one in the world amateur ranking. With a handicap plus 5.5, she trains 35 hours a week. The rest she spends on her school work and sleeping.
