In doing so, Ko snatches this privilege from Japan\u2019s Ryo Ishikawa, who made history at the age of 15 years and eight months, when he won the Japan Open. \u201cIt\u2019s something spectacular. I don\u2019t really know what to say. I\u2019m very happy and to be part of history in this way is a miracle. I have struggled a lot to achieve this,\u201d explained the young Asian golfer after her feat. Ko is already number one in the world amateur ranking. With a handicap plus 5.5, she trains 35 hours a week. The rest she spends on her school work and sleeping.
