He became the first Briton to win the award since the award was established in 1990. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a great honor to close what has been a fabulous year for me,&#8221; Donald said from the Australian Masters in Melbourne. &#8220;Thank you to all the players for their votes.
