After nearly nine decades of playing golf, North American Joe Sepic never ceases to amaze himself and everyone else.<\/p>\n

Sepic, 98, has scored the second hole-in-one of his life in a three-year period. This time he holed from the 3-wood tee on a 100-meter hole at Cypress Links Golf Course in St. Petersburg, Fla. Coincidentally, Sepic had his first hole on that same hole on March 13, 2012, at age 94. <\/span><\/p>\n

That first hole-in-one was a long time coming, 84 years to be precise. Sepic started playing golf at age 12, in 1929, near Pittsburgh, and has played almost every week since. In fact, when he retired at 62 and moved to Florida, he said his goal was to play as much golf as possible. <\/span><\/p>\n

He now plays twice a week and, according to The Tampa Bay Times,<\/span><\/a> he still tees off from white bars instead of seniors at the 27-hole Cypress Links course. And until he injured his ankle a few years ago, he always walked the course and never used a buggy. <\/span><\/p>\n

With his second hole-in-one under his belt, Sepic says his goal now is to become the oldest player to achieve an ace. The record is held by a 103-year-old man who achieved it in 2014. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sepic has a few years to go before he can attempt to beat that record, but, he told the newspaper, “hopefully, it won’t take me another 90 years.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
