The twenty-second season of the Sydkusten Trophy Circuit culminated on April 8 at El Para\u00edso Golf in Costa del Sol. It was not the most desirable weather for the final, but the incessant rain did not tarnish a final with many lights. The participants at the Estepona golf course appreciated a course in excellent condition and also enjoyed an exquisite lunch at the Club House. It so happened that the best player of the whole season in category A, Olle Wahlstr\u00f6m, was 75 years old on the same day. For this last tournament of the season, the European Tour player Peter Gustafsson was present. <\/p>\n
The prize winners in the Group A final (hcp. 0-18.5) were as follows: 1) Laima Drazdauskiene, slope 19 – 35 points, 2) Ulf Salln\u00e4s, slope 7 – 34 points, 3) Roger Johansson, slope 16 – 33 points, 4) Jan Salln\u00e4s, slope 11 – 32 points, and 5) Bj\u00f6rn Einarsson, slope 19 – 31 points. In the Group B final (hcp. 18,6-36), the awards went to the following players: <\/p>\n

Top finishers in the Sydkusten Open (hcp. 0-36) were 1) Karl-Erik Roos, slope 26 – 35 points, 2) Casilda Ugarte, slope 16 – 32 points, 3) G\u00f6ran Knutsson, slope 14 – 31 points, 4) Peter Edstr\u00f6m, slope 13 – 29 points, and 5) Jan Jonsson, slope 14 – 29 points. <\/p>\n
Sydkusten Trophy is organized by the Swedish newspaper Sydkusten, which is published on the Costa del Sol. The sponsors this season have been Casa Santi, Tr\u00e4 & Sten, Restaurante El Gamonal, Restaurante Antonio’s, La Pappardella Puerto Ban\u00fas, Restaurante C’est la Vie, Miadel and Dulce & Salado. <\/p>\n
