The bullfighters\u2019 team won the 4th edition of the traditional golf tournament that pits them against the\u00a0cattle ranchers every year in the impressive setting of the Real Club de Golf de La Herrer\u00eda. It was an emotional and\u00a0spring day, with H.R.H. the Infanta Elena as witness, who was awarded the Trophy\u00a0V\u00edctor Barrio for her support to bullfighting. \u201cOne suffers in abundance, one cries in abundance. The\u00a0battles are hard and some are lost but in the end love and affection is what stands out from all this\u00a0experience\u201d, were some of the words of the Infanta in her speech when she received the award. <\/p>\n

As a golf and bullfighting tournament already consolidated in the amateur golfing calendar in Spain, the\u00a0participation of the top bullfighters and the head of the Spanish bulls could not have been better represented\u00a0.<\/p>\n

Morante de la Puebla, Enrique Ponce, Roca Rey, Manuel Escribano, Sebasti\u00e1n Palomo, Pep\u00edn Liria,\u00a0Manuel Caballero, Javier Valverde, Eduardo D\u00e1vila Miura, \u00d3scar Higares, Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Garc\u00eda Olivares\u00a0\u201cChechu\u201d, Pepe Moral, etc. were some of the participating bullfighters. While on the part of the\u00a0breeders were Juan Pablo Corona, Juan Pedro Domecq, Pedro and Sergio Trapote, Iv\u00e1n\u00a0Bohorquez, Silvia Camacho\u2026\u00a0There were also\u00a0known faces such as Bernardo Schuster or Francis Lorenzo. <\/p>\n

Organized by Dropate Events, the tournament was sponsored by the CRV Foundation, owned by\u00a0Mexican businessman, cattle rancher and sportsman Juan Pablo Corona, and the proceeds were donated to the\u00a0Aladina Foundation, which fights against childhood cancer.<\/p>\n
