It was described as a once-in-a-lifetime shot – and it certainly was for at least one of the unfortunate protagonists. When Ryan Gray teed off on the 18th at TPC Sawgrass in Florida, his ball struck a duck, which plummeted to the ground as the amateur golfer looked on disbelievingly. (This is 2017 so the incident was captured on film<\/a> and subsequently uploaded to social media.) <\/p>\n

One onlooker can be heard on the video saying, “Oh my God… did that just happen?”; and another, “Are you kidding me?” The person behind the camera then rushes to the water and observes a dead-looking duck sinking next to a trail of blood. <\/p>\n
