Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlory have certainly been able to cash in on their form over the past two seasons. Both were named in Forbes magazine’s recently released annual list of the top 30 celebrity earners under the age of 30 (based on earnings between 1 June 2015 and 1 June 2016). <\/p>\n

Twenty-three-year-old Spieth was tied for 10th with $53 million in estimated earnings before taxes, including a reported $32 million in sponsorship deals from companies such as Under Armour, Coca-Cola and Titleist.<\/p>\n

McIlroy, 27, was 14th with $42.5 million, a total that included $20 million from equipment sponsor Nike but not the $10 million bonus he earned for winning the FedEx Cup<\/a> in September.<\/p>\n

Taylor Swift topped the list with an estimated $170 million, followed by the band One Direction ($110 million) and Barcelona footballer Lionel Messi ($81.5 million).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
