Representing companies from throughout Spain that have had commercial agreements with Riversa over the years, as well as other major associates and suppliers, they arrived in the morning to take part in an inaugural welcome by Lara, who recalled the company\u2019s origins as an installer of irrigation systems, its agreement with leading US brand Toro, for the exclusive distribution of its products in Spain (and later Portugal), and its close relationship with the growth of the golfing industry in Spain. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the 16 courses in the whole of Spain in 1976,\u201d said Lara, \u201cthere are now more than 300, and there is not a single one that doesn\u2019t have at least one of our products.\u201d He also made special mention of his most veteran staff, some of whom had been with the company for more than 30 years. <\/p>\n<p>After his speech, Sandro Lara \u2013\u00a0manager of the garden equipment department \u2013 outlined Riversa\u2019s plans for the next few years, highlighting such factors as \u201cattention to customers, mutual confidence, innovation and post-sales service\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Francisco Garc\u00eda, Marbella Town Hall\u2019s councillor for parks and gardens, praised Riversa for its job creation, while other speakers stressed how much they appreciated the company\u2019s commitment and mutual efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Later, those attending were given a tour of the premises, and an extensive presentation of Riversa\u2019s products and their main features, and the celebrations concluded that night with a cocktail party at the Beach Guadalmina hotel for guests and employees.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-6234\" src=\"https:\/\/andaluciagolf.holaincompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/images_Actualidad2016_Riversa-2-PS.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"437\" height=\"291\" srcset=\"https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/images_Actualidad2016_Riversa-2-PS.jpg 437w, https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/images_Actualidad2016_Riversa-2-PS-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 437px) 100vw, 437px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One hundred guests joined Riversa chairman Juli\u00e1n Lara for a day of special celebrations to mark the pacesetting company\u2019s 40th anniversary.
