This summer, the ANDALUC\u00cdA GOLF CHALLENGE circuit will be played at five of the Costa del Sol’s finest courses: <\/span>Finca Cortes\u00edn<\/strong> (13\/07\/2013), <\/span>Rio Real<\/strong> (27\/07\/2013) <\/span>Marbella Club<\/strong> (two days – 16\/08\/2013 and 17\/08\/2013), <\/span>Flamingos<\/strong> (25\/08\/2013) and <\/span>Valderrama<\/strong> (date to be confirmed).<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

The format for play will be STABLEFORD INDIVIDUAL, in two categories:<\/p>\n

1st Category: 0 to 16.4 handicap (women 0 to 20.4)<\/p>\n

2nd Category: 16.5 to 28.4 handicap (women 20.5 to 36.4)<\/p>\n

\n

As in the previous editions of the circuit, the prizes will be the best on offer for an amateur tournament.<\/p>\n

The first prize in both categories is a flight to Turkey, provided by Turkish Airlines, as well as top-brand golf products, gran reserva wines “denominaci\u00f3n de origen” from Somontano, etc.<\/p>\n

In addition, the three top-placed golfers in each category and the winners of the longest drive and closest to the pin prizes will receive golf products from Holiday Golf valued at thousands of euros.<\/p>\n

Just by signing up for a tournament, each player will receive a bottle of “denominaci\u00f3n de origen” Somontano fine wine, a major gift from Casino de Marbella and other presents.<\/p>\n

In addition to the aforementioned gifts, the entry fee includes an invitation to the cocktail reception and prize and trophy presentation.<\/p>\n

You can compete on the circuit without necessarily playing in each leg: i.e. just one or more of the tournaments.<\/p>\n

* At Marbella Club, you can play either one of the days, or both. In the latter case, the prizes will be awarded on the basis of the best card over both days. The prize presentation will be held at the end of the second day’s play. <\/p>\n

27th JULY AT RIO REAL<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Open amateur tournament at one of course designer Javier Arana’s Marbella jewels<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of Spain’s most spectacular and attractive courses, just three kilometres from Marbella city centre, will host the second leg of the 2013 Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge – an amateur golf circuit held at several of the region’s top courses – on 27th July.<\/span><\/p>\n

In spite of its relatively short existence, just three years, the tour has already become a classic date on the annual golfing calendar and attracts keen interest among golfers from throughout Europe, thanks to the quality of the host clubs, its organisational expertise, and the best prizes on offer in an amateur event. <\/span><\/p>\n

The entry fee at RIO REAL is 65 euros per person<\/strong> (buggy not included) and full payment will be required in advance.<\/p>\n

There will be significant prizes for the top three players in each category, as well as the winners of the longest drive and closest to the pin prizes.<\/p>\n

PRIZES<\/strong><\/p>\n

The winners of each category will win a flight to Turkey, several top-brand golf products, and a case of gran reserva wines (“denominaci\u00f3n de origen”) from SOMONTANO.<\/p>\n

Those finishing second and third, and the winners of the longest drive and closest to the pin prizes, will also win golf products valued at hundreds of euros and cases of gran reserva SOMONTANO wine.<\/p>\n

The leading 30 placed participants will receive a 50 euro voucher from NIKKI BEACH.<\/p>\n

Organised by Andaluc\u00eda Golf, the tournament will be played as an individual stableford format, in two categories. Shotgun at 09:00hrs. <\/strong><\/p>\n
