Recognised as one of the premier Costa del Sol courses when it comes to the relationship between price and quality, Los Arqueros has completed a maintenance schedule \u2013 in advance of the new season \u2013 that places the club among the elite of the most meticulously maintained golf amenities on the Coast. And that is something the club\u2019s golfers are aware of and appreciate. <\/p>\n
\u201cIn reality,\u201d says manager Ulf, \u201cwhat we\u2019ve done is repeat what we did last winter, which worked perfectly well: once again maintain very good prices and, at the same time, invest more money on maintenance.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe do things that only courses of a high quality do, and which many courses that are considered to be of a higher level than ours don\u2019t: either because of the economic situation or whatever reason.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnce again we\u2019ve re-seeded the fairways, with an investment of \u20ac14,000 in seeds, 740 tonnes of sand, something like 50 dump-trucks, and 9,000 kilograms of fertilser.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd all of that to ensure the course is 100 per cent this autumn-winter. I had a look around today, after the rains of late September, and it was impressive. And it\u2019s going to get even better.\u201d<\/p>\n
Los Arqueros is located on the Ronda road; also with access through Benahav\u00eds road. In the last years all efforts have focused to obtain the environmental certificate (ISO 14.001), Health & Safety (OHSAS 18.001) and Golf Quality, thus positioning Los Arqueros probably among the very few golf courses in Spain to have achieved it. <\/p>\n
Los Arqueros, par 71 with total length of 5.729 m., offers an interesting round of golf suitable for low and high handicap players. Accuracy and direction rather than length are the key factors in producing a good round.<\/p>\n
The topography of the course follows the natural contours with contrasting landscapes including three lakes and several streams which make each hole a different challenge. The excellent conditions of fairways and greens together with the enviable setting and magnificent views of the mountains and Mediterranean sea, makes a visit to Los Arqueros an unforgettable experience. <\/p>\n
