The Costa del Sol’s famed sunshine and a golf course in magnificent condition… these were just two of the key ingredients that ensured another successful leg of the popular 2018 Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge circuit (“La Romana Golf Club Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe” in the Dominican Republic) – at San Roque’s Old Course. <\/span> <\/p>\n

In addition to great prizes for each tournament (top-brand apparel from the fairway-blue boutique, D.O. Somontano wines, sports equipment and products, etc.), the top five in each category qualify for the grand final, which will decide the five winners of one-week trips to the Caribbean including flights, hotel (Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe) and four days of golf (two at La Romana Golf Club, one at Punta Espada and another at Diente de Perro).<\/p>\n

The leading five in category one at San Roque were, in order: Pedro Miguel Cevey Mendoza (41 points), Santiago Guti\u00e9rrez Duque (40), Juan Francisco Lazo C\u00f3rdoba (38), Sonny Burrell (37) and David MacGregor (37).<\/p>\n

In category two, the five winning a place in the grand final were: Francisco Funes Guti\u00e9rrez (42 points), Mar\u00eda Noguero Aguililla (40), Rafael \u00c1ngel L\u00f3pez Garc\u00eda (37), Yulia Golubeva (37) and Ana Isabel Irimia Di\u00e9guez (37).<\/p>\n

The scratch winner was Zak Karkaletsos, whose prize was a painting by renowned Marbella-based artist Alejandro Hermann. Special prizes for closest to the pin on the third went to Michael Pollak, and longest drive on the 17th to David MacGregor. <\/span>and Marisa Artes.<\/p>\n

The day of golf concluded in the stunning clubhouse with a superb cocktail reception and prize-giving ceremony.<\/p>\n

Forthcoming legs of the Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge are 2 & 3 July at Royal Sotogrande, 28 July at La Reserva de Sotogrande, <\/span>11 August at San Roque New, <\/span>18 August at Flamingos (Villa Padierna) and <\/span>25 August at Valle Romano.<\/strong><\/p>\n

DESTINATION ‘LA ROMANA GOLF CLUB BAHIA PRINCIPE’ IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC<\/b>
<\/span>The top five in each category qualify for the grand final, which will decide the five winners of one-week trips all-inclusive to LA ROMANA GOLF CLUB BAH\u00cdA PR\u00cdNCIPE, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.<\/p>\n

The top two in each category and the scratch winner in the Grand Final, to be held in September at a venue still to be confirmed, will travel to the Dominican Republic. <\/p>\n
