Thus comes the large and qualified ‘Spanish Armada’ to the Open de Espa\u00f1a hosted by the National Golf Center in Madrid between May 15 and 18. Twenty-five Spanish players, many of them endorsed by an outstanding sporting performance so far this season, all of them determined for one of them to lift the champion’s trophy next Sunday. <\/p>\n

All this in the framework of a tournament where the Spaniards, led by Jon Rahm and Rafael Cabrera-Bello, concentrate precisely much of the attractions of the competition to face the veritable legion of good foreigners who are constituted as the main opposition.
The Spanish roster is simply outstanding, headed by Jon Rahm and Rafael Cabrera-Bello, number 4 and 24 in the World Ranking, who arrive at the Open de Espa\u00f1a after finishing fourth and thirty-eighth respectively at The Masters.
At their side, prestigious players backed by their continuous good performances throughout the present and past season, which have made Spanish golfers, precisely, great entertainers of the European Tour tournaments week in and week out, where they are undoubtedly serious contenders for the title at stake.
Players of the proven quality of Pablo Larraz\u00e1bal, Jorge Campillo, Adri\u00e1n Otaegui, Gonzalo Fern\u00e1ndez-Casta\u00f1o, \u00c1lvaro Quir\u00f3s and a long etcetera posed for the cameras in the prelude to the tournament, an endearing family photo where the quality of its members staged the illusion in this edition of the Open de Espa\u00f1a.
In front of them, a select list of foreign golfers, many of whom dominate the European Tour week after week, who also meet at the Madrid course, such as Andrew Johnston, Eddie Pepperell, George Coetzee, Matt Wallace, Robert Karlsson, Andy Sullivan, Victor Dubuisson, Nicolas Colsaerts, David Howell, Matteo Manassero… also an interesting list of qualified contenders for the title.
The challenge, then, is served with all the ingredients for the development and outcome to be a real spectacle for all fans.<\/p>\n

An original, fun and different photo. With the help of LaLiga4Sports, almost the entire Spanish Armada, with Jon Rahm at the head, posed with the shirt of their soccer team of their soul. The event served to take a break from training, to disconnect for a few minutes and, incidentally, to give Jon Rahm a standing ovation for his fourth place at the Augusta Masters.
In a first more formal pose and without soccer shirts, the golfers showed their good humor and camaraderie. Alvaro Quiros encouraged his teammates with jokes, Jon Rahm greeted left and right, the young amateurs were amazed rubbing shoulders with the ‘seniors’…
And in the second pose, the players, all dressed in their shirts, had a great time playing with small soccer balls. The Madrid players Jorge Campillo and Pedro Oriol were trying to pique the cul\u00e9 Pablo Larraz\u00e1bal, and the athletic Gonzalo Fern\u00e1ndez-Casta\u00f1o put a little order while Jon Rahm kissed the shield of his Athletic. And between an attempt at a Ronaldo-like bicycle kick by Javi Colomo and a wish in the form of promotion to the First Division by Alfredo Garc\u00eda-Heredia for his Sporting team, the fun event came to an end.
