The new season of top amateur competitions organized by Andaluc\u00eda Golf on the Costa del Sol began with an individual stableford event on Sunday at Atalaya Old Course.<\/p>\n

Windy conditions made play difficult but failed to deter the keen competitors as they produced some highly creditable scoring on the classic course – which this year’s celebrates its 50th anniversary.<\/p>\n

Prizes valued at more than \u20ac1,500 were presented to the three leading players in each category, as well as the trophies; and there were special prizes for longest drive (men and women), ball closest to the pin and scratch – in addition to gifts for a raffle.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
