Such has been the intense relationship of Spanish golfers with the <b>Andaluc\u00eda Costa del Sol Open de Espa\u00f1a Femenino<\/b>, which this time brings together fourteen representatives of our country in pursuit of the title at stake in this important tournament integrated into the Ladies European Tour<b>.<\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-10410\" src=\"https:\/\/andaluciagolf.holaincompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/images_Actual2019_2019-open-de-espana-femenino-martes-noemi-jimenez-2-WEB.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"854\" height=\"588\" srcset=\"https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/images_Actual2019_2019-open-de-espana-femenino-martes-noemi-jimenez-2-WEB.jpg 854w, https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/images_Actual2019_2019-open-de-espana-femenino-martes-noemi-jimenez-2-WEB-300x207.jpg 300w, https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/images_Actual2019_2019-open-de-espana-femenino-martes-noemi-jimenez-2-WEB-768x529.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 854px) 100vw, 854px\" \/><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14\"><span class=\"s1\">The large group of Spaniards present at the Aloha Golf course in Malaga &#8211; with special mention for the aforementioned Azahara Mu\u00f1oz and for Mar\u00eda Parra from Cadiz and Noem\u00ed Jim\u00e9nez and Laura Cabanillas from Malaga, prestigious Andalusian references in the competition &#8211; requests the maximum prominence in a tournament that is expected to be exciting given the high quality of its foreign participants, with the Dutch Anne Van Dam, world golf star and defending champion, in the front line.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span><span class=\"s1\">Headed by Azahara Mu\u00f1oz, whose natural habitat is the American Tour, the number of Spanish players rises to fourteen, some of whom have achieved brilliant results in various Professional Tours throughout this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p15\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span><span class=\"s1\">This is the case of the Balearic Nuria Iturrios, who arrives in Malaga with the brand new LPGA 2020 card recently obtained under her arm, the culmination of a spectacular season that includes three victories in the Lalla Meryem Cup, the Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic and the Zimmer Biomet Champonship, the latter tournament of the North American Symetra Tour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p15\"><span class=\"s1\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-10413\" src=\"https:\/\/andaluciagolf.holaincompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/images_Actual2019_2019-open-de-espana-femenino-proam-martes-4-WEB.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/images_Actual2019_2019-open-de-espana-femenino-proam-martes-4-WEB.jpg 854w, https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/images_Actual2019_2019-open-de-espana-femenino-proam-martes-4-WEB-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/images_Actual2019_2019-open-de-espana-femenino-proam-martes-4-WEB-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 854px) 100vw, 854px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p16\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span><span class=\"s1\">Mar\u00eda Parra &#8211; A very interesting course&#8221; (&#8230;)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;The Estrella Damm Mediterranean Ladies Open was my first tournament since the break and I left with a very good feeling. Now I just have to keep consolidating that momentum before the LPGA starts at the end of January&#8221; (&#8230;)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;I feel very good, I&#8217;m coming from a month and a half in Florida. Playing the Spanish Open is very special for me because it&#8217;s been 10 years since I last played it. Having your people supporting you, having my father by my side and all the affection makes me really want to play&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14\"><span class=\"s1\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Luna Sobr\u00f3n: &#8220;I have never played in Aloha and what better tournament than this one to do it&#8221;.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;The truth is that it is my first time here, I have never played in Aloha and what better tournament to do it. My next goal is to be at the top of the American Tour, go step by step and see what happens.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\"><b> <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Free admission<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14\"><span class=\"s1\">Admission to attend the four days of competition -from November 28th to December 1st- of the Andaluc\u00eda Costa del Sol Open de Espa\u00f1a Femenino is free of charge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\"><b> <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Great Spanish results that generate confidence<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14\"><span class=\"s1\">Recall that, apart from the triumphs of Azahara Mu\u00f1oz in 2016 and 2017, six Spaniards came close to victory in the Open de Espa\u00f1a by finishing second. It was the case of Raquel Carriedo in 2002; Ana Bel\u00e9n S\u00e1nchez in 2003; Tania El\u00f3segui and Emma Cabrera tied for second place in 2009; again, Tania El\u00f3segui in 2011; Carlota Ciganda in 2014 and, finally, the aforementioned Azahara Mu\u00f1oz in the 2018 edition. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p13\"><span class=\"s1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Extensive television coverage of the tournament<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14\"><span class=\"s1\">The Andaluc\u00eda Costa del Sol Open de Espa\u00f1a Femenino will have extensive television coverage with three hours of live coverage plus a 30-minute summary each day of competition. This last section will be extended to a one-hour daily summary during the weekend.
