With splendid sunshine, little wind, 112 players and a course in magnificent conditions, the eighth round of the Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge 2019 Destination Riviera Maya Golf Club Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe in Mexico <\/span> was played at Valle Romano Golf & Resort, Estepona. <\/p>\n

<\/span>As in all the events of this year’s Circuit organized by Andaluc\u00eda Golf\/Espa\u00f1a Golf and sponsored by Riviera Maya Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe, Exxacon and Reale-Galpe, the available places were quickly sold out and there were many players who could not participate in the Valle Romano competition. As usual in the Circuit, both Spanish and foreign players participated in the tournament. <\/p>\n

Apart from the prizes of each tournament (premium branded clothing from the fairway+blue store, D.O. Somontano wines, Holiday Golf sports equipment, etc.), the top five finishers in each category plus the scratch winner get a place to play the final of the Circuit and thus opt for one of the five trips to the Riviera Maya for a week that includes flight, hotel (Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an *****) and golf in three of the best courses in the Caribbean: <\/span>Riviera Maya Golf, El Camale\u00f3n Mayakoba and Playa Para\u00edso.<\/p>\n

The first five classified in Valle Romano in first category were, in this order, the following: Seraf\u00edn Linares Garc\u00eda (42 points), Celia Nebot Lorente (39), Rolf Leuner (39), V\u00edctor Naz (37) and Francisco Javier Le\u00f3n Blanco.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the second category the top five were Eva Camacho Torrent (40 points), Diego Hidalgo Carrasco (37), Pedro Luis G\u00f3mez Mart\u00ednez (36), Jose L\u00e1zaro L\u00f3pez Carrillo (3& and Jaime Cervera Rom\u00e1n (36).<\/span><\/p>\n

The scratch winner was Marcos Ler\u00eda, with 39 points. The special prizes for closest ball went to Rolf Leuner, while those for longest drive went to Celia Nebot and Marcus Dons. <\/span><\/p>\n

The sporting party concluded at the splendid Valle Romano clubhouse with a magnificent barbecue and the prize-giving ceremony and raffle of gifts.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next appointments of the Circuito Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge 2019 Destino Riviera Maya Golf Club Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe are the following: August 17 at Flamingos and August 24 at La Reserva Club Sotogrande. The final will be played on September 7 at Alferini Villa Padierna. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

ANDALUC\u00cdA GOLF CHALLENGE 2019 CIRCUIT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge Destino Riviera Maya Golf Club Riviera Maya Golf Club Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe Circuit began on April 10 at Golf Santander (Madrid) and will conclude at La Reserva Club Sotogrande on August 24. The Grand Final will be played on September 7 at Alferini (Villa Padierna Golf Resort). The top five in each category in each tournament qualify for the Grand Final, where the five one-week all-inclusive trips to Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort, with golf at Riviera Maya Golf Club, El Camale\u00f3n Mayakoba and Playa Para\u00edso, will be decided. This trip will take place on October 27th. <\/p>\n

The location of the resort is ideal, situated in Akumal, between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. In Playa del Carmen we will find world-class restaurants and fantastic leisure and shopping options. The golf facilities are completed with an academy run by Toni Planells and where teaching is given with his Natural Golf Guidance method. It can be a great opportunity to approach golf, as this method gets those who have never picked up a club before to approach golf in a non-traumatic way and can have fun from the first moment. It is also perfect for correcting bad habits and getting players who are stuck in their progress and want to improve back on track. <\/p>\n

The services are equally excellent: golf clubs and golf carts with GPS are available for rent and there is even a golf shoe rental service.<\/p>\n
