A new edition of the “Jose Manuel Pascual Pascual Memorial Golf Tournament” took place at Fairplay Golf & Spa Resort, a reunion with friends that was a long time in the waiting but that could not have turned out any better in all respects. Enviable weather conditions, a virtually perfect golf course and confirmation of almost 80 players willing to take part in this endearing tournament: the key ingredients for success, along with the collaboration of countless companies related to Jos\u00e9 Manuel Pascual Pascual who wanted to be there on this splendid day of competition. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

From the break of dawn, Fairplay Golf & Spa Resort was a beehive of activity, starting with the finishing touches to the welcome ceremony for the players. After the delivery of cards and coffee at 8:30, a meeting was held to review the local rules. <\/p>\n

The competition started at 9:30 with about 20 games of golf on the course. The wind, although gentle for the first hour, made a mid-morning appearance, adding excitement to the day. The players established a good rhythm despite the two refreshment points on the9th <\/span>and17th <\/span>holes, which helped the players compete in a fairly relaxed atmosphere. <\/p>\n

The first games started ending around 14:10. After the ending the game, the guests went on to the cocktail area, where they were met by the sponsors’ different tasting stations as well as with the great cuisine of the Hotel. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

With the competitive atmosphere left behind, the players joined the rest of the event’s guests to enjoy a great lunch with friends. Immediately afterwards, the awards ceremony took place, which apart from honoring the 1st and 2nd place in the 3 categories, also included prizes such as scratch, senior, ladies, and a nice prize for the best ranked player of the company. <\/p>\n

In the awards ceremony, the collaborators were again thanked for their participation and more than 100 gifts were presented to the players.<\/p>\n

Players displayed their wish to be part of the next tournament.<\/p>\n

– 3rd Category 1st and 2nd place: Luis Mario Blanco and Juan Jos\u00e9 Verdejo.<\/p>\n

– Winner Scratch: Eduardo Van Panhuys<\/p>\n

– Winner Lady: M\u00aa Isabel Lucero<\/p>\n

– Senior Winner: Noel Van Assche<\/p>\n

– Best Ranked Player of the company: Carlos Gonz\u00e1lez N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/p>\n
