<\/strong>The extraordinary Real Club de Golf Sotogrande<\/b>, undoubtedly one of the best courses in Spain and Europe, has hosted with great success the thirteenth meeting of the Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge 2020 Destination Dominican Republic Ocean’s 4 Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe<\/strong>, open amateur championship circuit that this year celebrates its tenth edition and is played in eighteen excellent courses, among which are several of the most prestigious in the country. This Circuit, organized by the magazine Andaluc\u00eda Golf<\/strong>, has as its grand final prize<\/span> <\/span>five nine-day trips to the Dominican Republic <\/span><\/strong>including flights, transfers, five-star all-inclusive hotel and golf at three of the best courses in the Caribbean: Ocean’s 4, Teeth of The Dog and Punta Espada<\/span>.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

The good weather accompanied the two days of the tournament, fortunately not making its appearance the dreaded wind of the Strait. The players enjoyed both the magnificent Robert Trent Jones senior design and the sensational maintenance and condition of the course. <\/p>\n

Apart from the prizes of each tournament (premium branded clothing from the store <\/span>Fairway+Blue <\/span><\/strong>in Puerto Ban\u00fas, <\/span><\/strong>wines <\/span>D<\/strong>.O. Somontano,<\/strong> <\/span>sports equipment from <\/span>Holiday Golf,<\/strong> <\/span>etc.), the first three classified in each category plus the scratch winner of each tournament get a place to play the grand final of the Circuit (Atalaya Old, November 21) and thus opt for one of the five one-week trips to the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n

As regards the sporting results, in the first category<\/strong>, the victory went to Alejandro Mart\u00ednez Arasso <\/b>(37 points), followed by Juan Delgado Zambrano<\/strong> (36), and Feliciano Garc\u00eda Barrag\u00e1n<\/strong> (34). Alejandro Mart\u00ednez Arasso and Feliciano Garc\u00eda Barrag\u00e1n were already qualified for the final of the Circuit. The fourth classified, Francisco L\u00f3pez Castro<\/strong>, and curiously the seventh, Jos\u00e9 Rom\u00e1n Bonilla Rubio<\/strong>, obtained a place for the final, since the fifth classified, <\/strong><\/span>Juan Enrique Mart\u00ednez Huot<\/strong>, is classified as scratch winner, and the sixth, Adri\u00e1n Bonilla Ram\u00edrez<\/strong>, <\/strong>is a minor and is not entitled to a prize. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/span>In the second category<\/strong>, Jose Mar\u00eda Delgado Aymat<\/strong> won with 41 points. In second place, with 40 points, was Jes\u00fas Castillo Aguilar<\/strong>, while third place went to Dennis Diaconescu<\/b>, who scored 36 points. <\/p>\n

In scratch category<\/strong>, the winner was, as mentioned, Juan Enrique Mart\u00ednez Huot<\/strong><\/span>with 30 scratch points.<\/p>\n

The special prize for the closest ball to the flag<\/strong> went to Rafael Font\u00e1n Zubizarreta<\/strong>, and the prizes for the longest drive <\/strong>were won by Myriam Garc\u00eda Alegre <\/b>and \u00c1lvaro Ballesteros Blanco.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/span>The next event of the<\/strong> Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge 2020 Destination Dominican Republic Ocean’s 4 Bahia Principe Circuit<\/strong> is<\/span> the<\/span> 10<\/strong><\/span> October<\/strong>in Santa Clara Granada.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The top three in each category plus the scratch winner qualify for the Grand Final, where five nine-day all-inclusive trips to the Playa Nueva Romana resort of Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe in the Dominican Republic with golf at Ocean’s 4, Punta Espada and Teeth of The Dog<\/strong> will be decided. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final will travel to the Dominican Republic. <\/p>\n
