No less than 165 players took part in the prestigious and award-winning layout designed by <strong>Chema Olaz\u00e1bal<\/strong>, a long and demanding course that is deservedly catalogued as one of the best in Spain. This course has hosted international competitions of the highest level, such as the 2004 World Cup, the 2009 Andalusia Open and the 2008, 2010 and 2012 Spanish Open. The good weather fortunately accompanied the tournament, without the dreaded rains that had been expected since the beginning of the week.   <br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">It is worth mentioning the result of the scratch winner, <strong>Javier Rodr\u00edguez-Tabernero Torres<\/strong>, with a round of 3 birdies and no bogeys, for 39 stableford scratch points.<br \/>Pablo Rodr\u00edguez-Tabernero, Javier&#8217;s brother, is the professional at the PGA Ocean&#8217;s 4 course, belonging to Grupo Pi\u00f1ero and its Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe chain, where the winners of last year&#8217;s Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge circuit were received on the golf trip to the Dominican Republic.<br \/>Javier will have the opportunity to win the trip, this time to the sister course of Bahia Principe PGA Riviera Maya, in the final of the Tour to be played at Marbella Club Golf Resort on October 2nd.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\"><span>In the first category, <strong>Carlos Vidal Moyano<\/strong> won with 41 points, followed by <strong>Jes\u00fas S\u00e1nchez Calvete<\/strong>, with the same score, and <strong>Teodosio Iglesias Li\u00f1an <\/strong>, with 40. In the second category, the winner was <strong>Pedro Manuel Rubio Ota\u00f1o<\/strong>, with 44 points, followed by <strong>Francisco Javier Haro Alarc\u00f3n <\/strong>, with 43, and <strong>Charles J.
