Sunny weather accompanied the day, although strong winds made their appearance from noon onwards. The course, from which the white peaks of the Sierra Nevada can be seen, was in very good conditions for the practice of golf.    <br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">As for the results of the tournament, the scratch winner was  <\/span><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Juan Luis Ballesteros Pel\u00e1ez<\/strong>, with 38 scratch points. In the first category, the winner was   <\/span><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Juan Jos\u00e9 Medina V\u00e1zquez<\/strong>, with 43 points, followed by <\/span><strong>Manuel G\u00f3mez Gutierrez<\/strong> (36) and  <span class=\"s1\"><strong>Jos\u00e9 Antonio Rosales Segura<\/strong> (36). In the second category, the best was   <\/span><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Francisco P\u00e9rez S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>, with 41 points, <span><strong>Mar\u00eda Elvira del Rosal Cimadevilla<\/strong> <\/span>was second, with 39 points, and <strong>Serge <\/strong><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Janssens<\/strong>, with the same score, obtained the third place. <\/span><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.andaluciagolfchallenge.com\/resultados-del-torneo-santa-clara-granada-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">COMPLETE RESULTS<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\"><span>As for special prizes, the closest ball to the flag was won by <\/span><\/span><strong><span class=\"s1\">Miguel Angel Maqueda Ortega<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s1\"><span>the longest drive for gentlemen was won by <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Juan Manuel P\u00e9rez Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><span>and the longest drive for ladies was won by <\/span><\/span><strong><span class=\"s1\">Ana Ortiz Martinez<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s1\"><span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\"><span><em>(SEE PHOTO GALLERY OF THE TOURNAMENT AT THE END OF THIS CHRONICLE).<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The competition held in <strong>Santa Clara Granada<\/strong> was the sixth of the twenty-five <strong><\/strong>that make up the eleventh edition of this open amateur circuit.<span> <\/span><strong>organized by the magazine Andaluc\u00eda Golf \/ Espa\u00f1a Golf<\/strong>. The circuit will travel between March and October through the Andalusian provinces of Malaga, Cadiz, Huelva, Almeria, Seville and Granada, as well as Madrid and Segovia, with most of the rounds taking place on the Costa del Sol. <\/p>\n<p>The grand finale of the circuit, from which the<span> <\/span><strong>five winners of the trips to the Mexican Caribbean<\/strong> will be chosen, will be played at<span> <\/span><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.marbellaclubgolf.com\/default-es.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marbella Club Golf Resort<\/a> on October 2<\/strong><span> <\/span>and will be followed by a gala dinner at the<span> <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/elgamonal.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">El Gamonal Restaurant<\/a><\/strong> in Marbella.<\/p>\n<p>The<span> <\/span><strong>access to the final<\/strong><span> <\/span>will be direct for the<span> <\/span><strong>scratch winner<\/strong><span> and the <strong>winners of each category<\/strong> in <\/span>each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded based on the<span> <\/span><strong>ranking<\/strong><span> <\/span>prepared from the points obtained in each event, taking into account the six best scores obtained throughout the Circuit (there is no minimum number of events to be played).<\/p>\n<p>The Circuit is sponsored by<span> <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanitas.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sanitas<\/a><\/strong>,<strong><span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/viviendodeltrading.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Living from Trading<\/a><\/strong>,<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bahia-principe.com\/es\/golf-resorts-caribe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bahia Principe Golf<\/a><\/strong>,<strong><span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bahia-principe.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts<\/a><span> <\/span><\/strong>y<strong><span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bahiaprinciperesidences.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bahia Principe Residences<\/a><\/strong>and as collaborators<span> <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/holidaygolf.com\/es\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Holiday Golf<\/a><\/strong>,<strong><span> <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairwayandblue.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fairway+blue<\/a><\/strong>,<strong><span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bodegalaus.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Laus Winery<\/a> <\/strong>y<strong><span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marbella.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marbella Town Hall<\/a><\/strong>.
