The dean club of Andalusian golf, the Club de Golf Bellavista<\/b><\/span><\/a>, founded in 1916, hosted the second round of the<\/span> XI Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge Circuit \u2018Destination PGA Riviera Maya Bahia Principe\u2019.<\/strong><\/a> The course, located six kilometers from Huelva capital, presented magnificent playing conditions, with magnificent bermudagrass greens fast and noble. The weather was sunny with some wind that hindered an already very technical course. It is worth mentioning the kindness and great professionalism of the entire Bellavista Golf team led by Alberto Rodr\u00edguez Payno<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

At the end of the game, participants enjoyed a tasty cocktail on the terrace of the clubhouse, following Covid protocols. (PHOTO GALLERY AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> scratch winner and the first three classified in each category received trophies and prizes consisting of cases of wine from Bodegas Laus <\/strong>and Enate<\/strong> of the Somontano D.O. <\/strong>and a dozen Bridgestone<\/strong> balls from Holiday Golf Group<\/strong>. The special prize for the ball closest to the flag was an Iberian shoulder donated by Bodega Bernardino<\/strong>, from Aljaraque (Huelva). There was also a raffle of gifts, including balls, caps, gloves and green fees for Bellavista and El Rompido. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the first category, Roberto Romero Moreno<\/strong> won with 38 points, followed by Juan Manuel Garc\u00eda Vega<\/strong>, also with 38, and Alberto Luis Alfonso \u00c1lvarez<\/b>, with 37 points. In second category the first three were Manuel Jes\u00fas Godoy del Roj <\/strong> (39 points), Santiago Pereles Molins<\/strong> (37) and Francisco S\u00e1nchez Torrej\u00f3n<\/strong> (36). The scratch winner was Jonas Reffborn<\/strong>, with 36 scratch points. The prize for the closest ball to the flag was won by Jos\u00e9 Manuel Lim\u00f3n Carranza<\/span><\/strong>. As a curious fact, the winner of the second category, Manuel Jes\u00fas Godoy, was one of the winners of the five trips to the Dominican Republic in the last edition of the Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge Circuit. <\/p>\n

FULL RESULTS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/em>Bellavista Golf was the second of the 25 tournaments<\/strong> that make up the eleventh edition of this open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andaluc\u00eda Golf \/ Espa\u00f1a Golf<\/strong>. The circuit will travel between March and October through the Andalusian provinces of Malaga, Cadiz, Huelva, Almeria, Seville and Granada, as well as Madrid and Segovia, with most of the events taking place on the Costa del Sol. <\/p>\n

The grand final of the circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Mexican Caribbean<\/strong> will be chosen, will be played at Marbella Club Golf Resort<\/a> on October 2<\/strong> and will be followed by a gala dinner at the El Gamonal Restaurant<\/a><\/strong> in Marbella.<\/p>\n

The access to the final<\/strong> will be direct for the scratch winner<\/strong> of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded based on the ranking<\/strong> based on the points obtained in each event, taking into account the six best scores obtained throughout the Circuit (there is no minimum number of events to be played).<\/p>\n

The Circuit is sponsored by Sanitas<\/a>, Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe Golf<\/a><\/strong>, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts<\/a> <\/strong>y Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe Residences<\/a><\/strong>and as collaborators Holiday Golf<\/a>, Fairway+blue<\/a>,<\/strong> Laus Winery<\/a> <\/strong>y Marbella Town Hall<\/a><\/strong>. PGA RIVIERA MAYA BAHIA PRINCIPE DESTINATION<\/strong><\/span>
The Grand Final of the Circuit will determine the five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Bahia Principe resort in Riviera Maya (Luxury Akumal hotel) with golf at PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleon Mayakoba, Playa Paraiso and Gran Coyote. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final, to be played on October 2 at Marbella Club Golf Resort, will travel to the Mexican Caribbean. <\/p>\n
