The Costa del Sol course of Valle Romano Golf & Resort<\/a><\/strong> <\/b>has been the setting for another year of one of the tests of the Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge Circuit ‘Destination PGA Riviera Maya Bahia Principe’. This magnificent layout located in the municipality of Estepona once again delighted the hundreds of players who gathered for a great day of sport, on a splendid, sunny and windless day, ideal for the practice of this sport. The presentation and the state of the course was unanimously praised by the participants.
<\/span><\/p>\n

The scratch winner was <\/span>Salvador Gonz\u00e1lez Mart\u00edn<\/span><\/strong>with 38 scratch points. In the first category, Francisco Gil Garc\u00eda<\/strong> won with 43 points,<\/span> <\/span> followed by <\/span>Iv\u00e1n Leache Mendoza <\/span><\/strong>(41) <\/span><\/span>y Frank Stockmans <\/span><\/strong> (38). In the second category, the best was <\/span>Manuel Garc\u00eda Merina<\/span><\/strong>with 43 points, David Rodr\u00edguez Amaya<\/b><\/span> <\/span>was second (40) and Saverio Ronca<\/strong><\/span> <\/strong>(39) <\/span>took third place. As for special prizes, the closest ball to the flag went to Ana Vega Narv\u00e1ez<\/strong> and the longest drive for ladies<\/span>was won by Patricia Zimmermann Fern\u00e1ndez,<\/b> while the longestdrive for menwent to Manuel Ace\u00f1a Fern\u00e1ndez, while the longest drive for menwent to Manuel Ace\u00f1a Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/span>while the longest drive for men was won by Manuel Ace\u00f1a Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The competition was held at Valle Romano Golf & Resort.<\/strong> <\/b>was the ninth event of the twenty-five that make up the eleventh edition of this open amateur circuit. <\/span>organized by the magazine Andaluc\u00eda Golf \/ Espa\u00f1a Golf<\/strong>. The circuit will travel between March and October through the Andalusian provinces of Malaga, Cadiz, Huelva, Almeria, Seville and Granada, as well as Madrid and Segovia, with most of the rounds taking place on the Costa del Sol. <\/p>\n

The grand finale of the circuit, from which the <\/span>five winners of the trips to the Mexican Caribbean<\/strong> will be chosen, will be played at <\/span>Marbella Club Golf Resort<\/a> on October 2<\/strong> <\/span>and will be followed by a gala dinner at the El Gamonal Restaurant. <\/span>El Gamonal Restaurant<\/a><\/strong> in Marbella.<\/p>\n

The <\/span>access to the final<\/strong> <\/span>will be direct for the <\/span>scratch winner<\/strong> and the winners of each category<\/strong> in <\/span>each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded based on the <\/span>ranking<\/strong> <\/span>prepared from the points obtained in each event, taking into account the six best scores obtained throughout the Circuit (there is no minimum number of events to be played).<\/p>\n

PGA RIVIERA MAYA BAHIA PRINCIPE DESTINATION<\/strong><\/span>
The Grand Final of the Circuit will determine the five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Bahia Principe resort in Riviera Maya (Luxury Akumal hotel) with golf at PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleon Mayakoba, and Playa Paraiso. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final, to be played on October 2 at Marbella Club Golf Resort, will travel to the Mexican Caribbean. <\/p>\n
