The magnificent Valle Guadiana Links<\/b>, at the mouth of the river that gives its name to the course, in the Huelva municipality of Ayamonte, <\/strong>has been for the first time the setting for the Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge Circuit<\/b>, which this year celebrates its eleventh edition and has as its grand final prize five one-week trips to Riviera Maya, in Mexico, including flights, transfers, five-star all-inclusive hotel and golf at three of the best courses in the Caribbean: PGA Riviera Maya, El Camale\u00f3n Mayacoba and Playa Para\u00edso.<\/b><\/p>\n

The course directed by Tino Cordero<\/strong> is an authentic links that runs along the riverbed and surprises for its great design, made by Jos\u00e9 Canales<\/strong>. The course belongs to the same group as Isla Canela<\/strong>, also in the municipality of Ayamonte. The tournament took place in magnificent weather without the heat bothering at any time. After the competition and the awards ceremony, a lunch was held in a very lively clubhouse. <\/p>\n

<\/b>In terms of sporting results, in the first category, the first three classified were Santiago Ortiz Albarr\u00e1n<\/strong> <\/span> (48<\/span> points) <\/span>, Michael Cross<\/span><\/strong> <\/b>(<\/span>42<\/span>) y <\/span>Jos\u00e9 Luis M\u00e1rquez Contiosos<\/strong> <\/span>(<\/span>38<\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n

The top three in the second category were Guillermo Sanch\u00eds Robina<\/b> (38 points), Jose Manuel Pinelo Herrera<\/strong> <\/b>(36) and Juan Pedro Naranjo Alba <\/strong>(36).<\/p>\n

The scratch winner was Juan Jos\u00e9 G\u00f3mez Santana<\/b>, with 39 scratch points.<\/p>\n

The special prize for the closest ball to the flag went to Gonzaga Liniers<\/strong>, and the longest drive went to C\u00e9line Rousseau<\/strong> <\/b>and Juan Antonio Arazola<\/b>.<\/p>\n

As in the previous two years, this open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andaluc\u00eda Golf\/Espa\u00f1a Golf<\/b> has as a prize for the final five trips to the Caribbean by the hand of Grupo Pi\u00f1ero<\/b>. Apart from the prizes of each competition, the first classified in each category plus the scratch winner of each tournament get a direct place to play the grand final of the circuit at the Marbella Golf Resort on October 2, with closing dinner of the circuit at the restaurant El Gamonal<\/strong> in Marbella and thus opt for one of the five trips to Riviera Maya for a week. The remaining places for the final game are obtained based on a ranking based on the points obtained in the tournaments played. <\/p>\n

The trip to the Riviera Maya<\/strong> is scheduled for November 6-14 of<\/strong> this year. Two rounds will be played at the PGA Riviera Maya, <\/strong>one at Mayakoba <\/strong>(after the completion of the PGA Tour’s Mayakoba Classic<\/strong>) and another at Playa Paraiso<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Grand Final of the Circuit will determine the five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Bahia Principe resort in Riviera Maya (Bahia Principe Grand Tulum hotel *****) with golf at PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleon Mayakoba, and Playa Paraiso. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final, to be played on October 2 at Marbella Club Golf Resort, will travel to the Mexican Caribbean. <\/p>\n
