The magnificent course of La Quinta Golf & Country Club once again lived up to expectations and highlighted its great quality to the participants in the last stage of the XIII Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge-Destination PGA Riviera Maya Circuit.<\/p>\n

The course was in perfect condition, both in terms of presentation and maintenance, with fast greens that were especially appreciated by the players. This design by Manuel Pi\u00f1ero and Antonio Garc\u00eda Garrido is one of the magnificent golf courses located in Benahav\u00eds, which has the third largest number of courses of any municipality in Spain. <\/p>\n

The morning threatened rain, but fortunately it did not appear during the competition. The tournament went at a very good pace and by 14.00 hours the awards ceremony had already taken place, preceded by refreshments served on the terrace of the club and presented by the director of La Quinta Golf, Jos\u00e9 Luis G\u00f3mez. <\/p>\n

La Quinta Golf & Country Club is managed by the prestigious Marriott hotel chain.<\/p>\n

The scratch and two category winners each won a place in the final of the Circuit, organized by Andaluc\u00eda Golf\/Espa\u00f1a Golf magazine, which will determine (in October) the winners of five fabulous trips to the Riviera Maya.<\/p>\n

In addition to prizes for the top three in each category and the scratch winner, there were special prizes for those closest to the flag: on hole 8 sponsored by IdeaTerrazas and won by Ra\u00fal Garc\u00eda G\u00f3\u00f1ez, and on the 16th, a dinner for two at the Tragabuches Restaurant of the Dani Garc\u00eda Group, won by Jos\u00e9 Luis Castilla Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n

The Finca Cortes\u00edn event was the 14th of 30 scheduled tournaments to be held during the 13th edition of this popular open amateur circuit, organized by Andaluc\u00eda Golf\/Espa\u00f1a Golf magazine. The Circuit covers all the Andalusian provinces, as well as other areas of central Spain, and most of the events are held on the best courses on the Costa del Sol. <\/p>\n

The grand final of the Circuit, which will decide the five winners of the trips to the Mexican Caribbean, will be held in Almenara on September 30, followed by a gala dinner at the Gran Hotel Guadalp\u00edn Ban\u00fas in Marbella.<\/p>\n

Access to the final will be direct for the winners of each category and the best scratch player of all qualifying tournaments, while the remaining places for the final will be awarded on the basis of the Benahav\u00eds Ranking, calculated from the points obtained in each bracket.<\/p>\n

The next events will be on June 24 in Zagaleta Nueva and July 2 in La Ca\u00f1ada.<\/p>\n

The Grand Final of the Circuit will determine the five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Bahia Principe resort in Riviera Maya with golf at PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleon Mayakoba and Playa Paraiso. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final, to be played on September 30 in Almenara, will travel to the Mexican Caribbean. <\/span><\/p>\n
