Zarapicos<\/strong>, one of the two magnificent courses of Salamanca Golf<\/strong>, has once again shone in the Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge<\/b> Circuit, which this year celebrates its thirteenth edition and has five golf trips to the Riviera Maya<\/strong> as a prize for the winners of the final.<\/span><\/p>\n

The tournament took place in a formidable sporting atmosphere. The morning started out cold, but then turned into a perfect day for competition. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>The greens were in perfect condition and the ball rolled beautifully.<\/span><\/p>\n

The course was even better than in last year’s edition; it can be seen that the improvements that are being introduced in this Salamanca golf course are paying off.<\/span><\/p>\n

The course, very close to the city of Salamanca, is set in a very pleasant dehesa environment. The course is very natural and has no real estate pressure. <\/span><\/p>\n

The shotgun start took place at 9 a.m. and, in addition to local players, regular players who follow the Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge Circuit from other provinces participated.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>After the game, a fantastic cocktail with local products was served on the terrace of the club, with a perfect temperature and atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

The help and support provided by Beatriz D\u00edez Garrido<\/strong>, director of the club and her team, as well as that of Miguel Ni\u00f1a<\/strong>, head of the restaurant, who ensured an impeccable service from early in the morning, was much appreciated.<\/span><\/p>\n

The scratch, first and second category winners won a place in the final of the Circuit organized by Andaluc\u00eda Golf\/Espa\u00f1a Golf magazine<\/strong>, where the fabulous five trips to the Riviera Maya<\/strong> will be decided next October. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>As for the results of the Zarapicos tournament, the scratch winner was Jorge Alonso Mart\u00edn<\/b>, with 38 scratch points. In the first category, Jes\u00fas Rivas Ruiz<\/strong> won, <\/b>with 42 stableford points, followed by Jorge Alonso Mart\u00edn<\/b>, with 39, and Javier Hern\u00e1ndez Mart\u00edn<\/b>, with 36 points. In the second category, the winner was Primo Calvo Calvo<\/b>, with 41 points, followed by Sergio P\u00e9rez P\u00e9rez<\/b>, with 40, and Carmen S\u00e1nchez Bur\u00f3n<\/b>, with 38 points. <\/p>\n

In addition to the prizes for the top three in each category and the scratch winner, there was a special prize for the closest ball, won by Mar\u00eda Mart\u00edn Robles<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/em>Zarapicos<\/strong> is the eighth of the thirty tournaments that make up the thirteenth edition of the Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge ‘Destino PGA Riviera Maya by Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe’, an<\/strong> open amateur circuit organized by the Andaluc\u00eda Golf\/Espa\u00f1a Golf magazine.<\/b> The circuit will cover all the Andalusian provinces, as well as others in central Spain, with most of the events taking place on the Costa del Sol, on top-level courses. <\/span><\/p>\n

The grand final <\/b>of the circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Mexican Caribbean<\/b> will be chosen, will be played on September 30<\/strong> and will be followed by a gala dinner at the Gran <\/b>Hotel Guadalp\u00edn Ban\u00fas. Access to the final<\/b> will be direct for the winner of each category<\/strong> and the scratch winner<\/b> of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded on the basis of the Benahav\u00eds Ranking<\/b> based on the points obtained in each event.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The next appointments of the Circuit in May<\/strong> will be <\/strong>on the 19th at<\/strong> Atalaya Old Course <\/b>(Estepona), 23rd and 24th at RCG Sotogrande, 27th at Santa Mar\u00eda Golf<\/b> (Marbella) and 31st at La Dehesa<\/strong> (Madrid).<\/p>\n

The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final, to be played on September 30 in Almenara, will travel to the Mexican Caribbean. <\/span><\/p>\n
