Once again a round of the Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge Circuit<\/strong> was played at the fantastic Real Novo Sancti Petri<\/strong> resort in C\u00e1diz, which this year has five golf trips to the Riviera Maya<\/strong> as prizes for the final.<\/span><\/p>\n

This resort has two golf courses, croquet, tennis and paddle tennis courts and Iberostar<\/strong> hotels next to the golf course and at the foot of La Barrosa beach<\/strong>, one of the best in Spain.<\/div>\n
On this occasion, the Centro course was played, unlike in previous editions, when the Mar y Pinos course was played.<\/div>\n

The course, designed by the legendary Seve Ballesteros<\/strong>, has the particularity that we can find in other of his designs of having in each round three par 3, three par 4 and three par 5, with which the opportunities for birdie and moving cards are accentuated.<\/div>\n
The shortest course was played, from yellow and red bars, in anticipation of the strong Levante wind that was expected and that came punctually to the appointment. Playing downwind or upwind meant that the players\u2019 concentration and accuracy were put to the test with every shot. <\/div>\n
In any case, the wind did not prevent the game from being played normally and in good conditions and the pace of play was adequate.<\/div>\n
The greens were in very good condition and the players enjoyed a perfectly presented course.<\/div>\n
After the game, a cocktail was served and the awards ceremony took place, presented by the general director of the complex, Rafael Hern\u00e1ndez Alcal\u00e1<\/strong>, assisted by Odalis G\u00f3mez Reyes<\/strong>, who was in charge of the perfect running of the tournament at all times.<\/div>\n

The <\/span> XIIIAndaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge \u2018Destino PGA Riviera Maya by Bah\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe\u2019 <\/strong>is an open amateur circuit organized by the <\/span>Andaluc\u00eda Golf\/Espa\u00f1a Golf magazine <\/strong>that travels through all the Andalusian provinces, as well as others in central Spain, with most of the events taking place on the Costa del Sol, on top level courses.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>grand final<\/strong> <\/span>of the Circuit, where the five winners of the <\/span>trips to the Mexican Caribbean<\/strong> will be played on <\/span>September 30 in Almenara<\/strong> <\/span>and will be followed by a gala dinner at the <\/span>Gran Hotel Guadalpin Banus<\/strong> <\/span>in Marbella.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Access to the final will be direct for the winner of each category and the scratch winner of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded based on the <\/span>Ranking Benahav\u00eds<\/strong> <\/span>prepared from the points obtained in each event.<\/p>\n

The next and last three appointments of the Circuit are on <\/span>August 17 at El Para\u00edso, September 2 at Estepona Golf and September 9 at La Hacienda Alcaidesa Heathland.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The Grand Final of the Circuit will determine the five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Bahia Principe resort in Riviera Maya with golf at PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleon Mayakoba and Playa Paraiso. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final, to be played on September 30 in Almenara, will travel to the Mexican Caribbean. <\/span><\/p>\n
