For the second consecutive year, the SAN MIGUEL ANDALUC\u00cdA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destination Dominican Republic by Globalia’<\/b> makes a stop at La Garza<\/strong>, the only course in the province of Ja\u00e9n and probably the best value for money on the planet.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The La Garza<\/strong> course, designed by the brilliant Pepe Gancedo<\/strong>, is very close to Linares<\/strong>, and enjoys a great golfing atmosphere.<\/p>\n

It is a very complete and varied course, which can be played perfectly on foot, in a spectacular dehesa environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It is an example of what can be promoted from the institutions, as it is a public field owned by the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Since the course has 9 holes, the players played two rounds. The course has the particularity of having different tees for the first and second rounds, so although greens and flags are repeated, each hole is not played in the same way. There was a shotgun start at 8:30 in the morning and another at 2:00 in the afternoon. <\/p>\n

The weather conditions were diametrically opposed: in the morning there was cold, wind and a light rain that complicated the game; in the afternoon the rain stopped and the sun even came out. Golf is not always fair. <\/p>\n

At the end of the second round, an awards ceremony was held with a cocktail served by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, who masterfully manages the La Garza<\/strong> restaurant.<\/p>\n

The presentation was attended by the manager of the host club, Antonio Quesada<\/strong>, <\/strong>and was followed by a raffle of gifts.<\/p>\n

The XIV<\/strong> SAN MIGUEL ANDALUC\u00cdA ANDALUC\u00cdA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destino Rep\u00fablica Dominicana by Globalia’ <\/b>is an open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andaluc\u00eda Golf \/ Espa\u00f1a Golf.<\/b> The circuit runs through all the Andalusian provinces, as well as Madrid and Mallorca, with most of the rounds being played on the Costa del Sol, on top level courses. <\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>grand final <\/span><\/b>of the Circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Dominican Caribbean<\/b> will be chosen, will be played <\/span>on September 28<\/b> at <\/span>Los Arqueros<\/strong> <\/span>and will be followed by a gala dinner at the <\/span>Gran Hotel Guadalp\u00edn Ban\u00fas<\/a><\/strong> in Marbella.<\/span><\/p>\n

Access to the final<\/b> will be direct for the <\/span>winner of each category<\/strong> <\/span>and the scratch winner<\/b> of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded based on theBenahav\u00eds Ranking<\/b> based on the points obtained in each event.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next meeting of the Circuit will be on Sunday, May 5 at the RCC C\u00f3rdoba<\/span>.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n
