The La Ca\u00f1ada<\/strong> course in San Andr\u00e9s, a spectacular design by Robert Trent Jones<\/strong> and Dave Thomas<\/strong>, <\/strong>has been the magnificent setting for one of the rounds of the XIV<\/strong> SAN MIGUEL ANDALUC\u00cdA GOLF CHALLENGE SAN MIGUEL ANDALUC\u00cdA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destino Rep\u00fablica Dominicana by Globalia’.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The wind had an influence on the game, without being excessive, and favored the thermal sensation to be optimal.<\/span><\/p>\n

There was a full house and a good balance between members and visitors: 54 members and 41 visitors. The ratio between players in the first category (45 players) and in the second category (50) was also very proportionate. The course was in excellent condition, with very good greens and very well presented in general. The players enjoyed San Miguel beers on the course and at the cocktail party served in the Club House for the awards ceremony. The award ceremony was presented by the Club’s manager, Jaime Ravina,<\/strong> who also won the scratch prize after being one stroke under par on the course. The prize was presented to him by Javier Coch\u00f3n<\/strong>, regional director of Mahou San Miguel in Andalusia. Gabriela Jones<\/strong>, from the golf boutique in Puerto Ban\u00fas Fairway + Blue, also took part in the prize-giving ceremony and presented the winners with some of the store’s garments. <\/p>\n

The XIV<\/strong> SAN MIGUEL ANDALUC\u00cdA ANDALUC\u00cdA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destino Rep\u00fablica Dominicana by Globalia’ <\/b>is an open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andaluc\u00eda Golf \/ Espa\u00f1a Golf.<\/b> The circuit runs through all the Andalusian provinces, as well as Madrid and Mallorca, with most of the rounds being played on the Costa del Sol, on top level courses. <\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>grand final <\/span><\/b>of the Circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Dominican Caribbean<\/b> will be chosen, will be played <\/span>on September 28<\/b> at <\/span>Los Arqueros<\/strong> <\/span>and will be followed by a gala dinner at the <\/span>Gran Hotel Guadalp\u00edn Ban\u00fas<\/a><\/strong> in Marbella.<\/span><\/p>\n

Access to the final<\/b> will be direct for the <\/span>winner of each category<\/strong> <\/span>and the scratch winner<\/b> of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded based on theBenahav\u00eds Ranking<\/b> based on the points obtained in each event.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next appointments of the Circuit will be on Wednesday, August 24 at Real Club Valderrama and on Thursday, August 25 at Zagaleta New Course.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n
