The XIV San Miguel Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge ‘Destino Rep\u00fablica Dominicana by Globalia’ <\/b>Circuit already has winners: Spaniards Domingo Gavira Esquivel<\/b>, Jose Mar\u00eda Gil Osorio, Mayte Castro Delma<\/b> and Jos\u00e9 Labella Mart\u00ednez<\/b> and Norwegian Olav Andreas Maaland<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Los Arqueros<\/b>, in the Costa del Sol municipality of Benahav\u00eds, was the scene of the grand finale of the Tour, which this year has been played in 24 Spanish courses, including some of the category of Real Club Valderrama, Finca Cortes\u00edn or Real Club Sevilla Golf.<\/span><\/p>\n

A hundred players, classified directly by winning the Circuit tournaments or through the Benahav\u00eds Ranking<\/b> (cumulative points by result in each event), met in the magnificent setting of Los Arqueros, a technical course designed by the legendary Severiano Ballesteros. At times the wind blew with relative intensity, which made the game difficult. <\/span><\/p>\n

The final prizes are five one-week golf trips to the Dominican Republic with Air Europa flights, play at the Punta Espada, Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and PGA Ocean’s 4 courses and accommodation at the five-star Sunscape Dominicus La Romana hotel, nestled on one of the best beaches in the Caribbean.<\/span><\/p>\n

The trips corresponded to the scratch and first and second category winners, as well as to the runners-up in both categories. They were, in that order, Domingo Gavira (36 scratch points), Jose Mar\u00eda Gil (38), Mayte Castro (38), Olav Andreas Maaland (36) and Jos\u00e9 Labella (35). It so happens that two of these winners (Mayte and Olav) played with Autoflex<\/strong> rods, one of the collaborating firms of the Circuit. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the evening, the Gala Dinner was held at the Alanda Marbella Hotel, an <\/b>extraordinary five-star hotel located on Marbella’s famous Golden Mile, which marked the end of the 2024 Circuit. <\/span><\/p>\n

The awards ceremony was attended by Javier Coch\u00f3n<\/b> and Jes\u00fas N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/b> on behalf of Cervezas San Miguel, <\/span>Ren\u00e9e Kachler<\/b> <\/span>from Turismo Costa del Sol, Gabriela Jones<\/b> from Fairway+blue, Jes\u00fas Porro<\/b>, from inversionesparavagos.com, and Luis Navarro<\/b> and Antonio S\u00e1nchez<\/b>, on behalf of the organization of the San Miguel Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge Circuit.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

After the awards ceremony, a drawing was held among all the finalists for an extra place to accompany the winners to the Caribbean, which went to C\u00e9sar G\u00f3mez Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>. A number of people who have booked the vacation package created for this purpose to accompany the winners will also travel to the Dominican Republic. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>The XIV San Miguel Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge ‘Destino Rep\u00fablica Dominicana by Globalia’ <\/b>is an open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andaluc\u00eda Golf\/Espa\u00f1a Golf <\/b>that has covered all the Andalusian provinces, as well as others in central Spain and the Balearic Islands, with most of the rounds being played on the Costa del Sol, on top level courses.<\/span><\/p>\n
