The magnificent course <\/strong>of Playa Serena<\/strong>, designed by Peter Allis and \u00c1ngel Gallardo<\/strong> in the Almeria municipality of Moj\u00e1car<\/strong>, has once again hosted one of the tournaments of the SAN MIGUEL ANDALUC\u00cdA GOLF CHALLENGE \u2018Destino Rep\u00fablica Dominicana by Globalia\u2019 Circuit, <\/b>which this year celebrates its fourteenth edition.<\/p>\n

The playing field of Playa Serena<\/strong>, a club managed by Francisco Javier Mart\u00edn Mendoza<\/strong>, <\/strong>is in excellent condition all year round. It is characterized by wide fairways, nine lakes and greens well defended by carefully designed bunkers. <\/p>\n

The course has a very flat orography, its course is very comfortable and its main difficulty lies in the long holes and the design of the greens.<\/p>\n

A great variety of genuine Mediterranean vegetation predominates throughout the course. The perimeter is made up of transparencies, tamarisks and mimosas. In the rough and landscaped areas we find Aleppo pines, eucalyptus, palm trees, olive trees, oleanders, plumeras, bungavillas and palmettos pist\u00f3sforos. <\/p>\n

It should be noted that after the competition, the participants enjoyed a spectacular cocktail by Michelin star chef Jos\u00e9 \u00c1lvarez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The XIV<\/strong> SAN MIGUEL ANDALUC\u00cdA ANDALUC\u00cdA GOLF CHALLENGE \u2018Destino Rep\u00fablica Dominicana by Globalia\u2019 <\/b>is an open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andaluc\u00eda Golf \/ Espa\u00f1a Golf.<\/b> The circuit runs through all the Andalusian provinces, as well as Madrid and Mallorca, with most of the rounds being played on the Costa del Sol, on top level courses. <\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>grand final <\/span><\/b>of the Circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Dominican Caribbean<\/b> will be chosen, will be played <\/span>on September 28<\/b> at <\/span>Los Arqueros<\/strong> <\/span>and will be followed by a gala dinner at the <\/span>Gran Hotel Guadalp\u00edn Ban\u00fas<\/a><\/strong> in Marbella.<\/span><\/p>\n

Access to the final<\/b> will be direct for the <\/span>winner of each category<\/strong> <\/span>and the scratch winner<\/b> of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded based on theBenahav\u00eds Ranking<\/b> based on the points obtained in each event.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next appointments of the Circuit in August will be the 28th in La Hacienda Links and the 31st in Chaparral.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
