The golfer from Rincón de la Victoria already had an outstanding performance as an amateur in the 2020 edition of the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España, where she completed the podium only behind the winner, the Danish Emily Kristine Pedersen, and the Balearic Nuria Iturrioz. Pelaez arrives at Los Naranjos Golf Club with the intention of consolidating her incipient career and will be measured again with the best of the circuit.

“I always look forward to playing close to home and the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España at Los Naranjos Golf Club is a wonderful challenge. I still have very much in mind how much I learned and enjoyed competing with the best on the Ladies European Tour in last year’s edition of this tournament even as an amateur, and I am looking forward to matching or even improving my performance in Guadalmina,” explained Ana Pelaéz. “Having the support of the public and knowing that I have my family, friends and sponsors so close to me is an added incentive, and I am delighted that the Costa del Sol is the stage chosen by the Ladies European Tour to close the season”.

She will be accompanied by two people from Marbella, Laura Gómez and Noemí Jiménez, a reference for the fans of the area and both with victories at the international level within the LET Access Series. In fact, Laura Gomez has just starred in a promotional campaign of Marbella with Angel Hidalgo, and Noemi Jimenez is another great ambassador of our city, so we are very proud to see their progress in the international arena.
