Japan\u2019s Ayaka Furue would have had to win the remaining LPGA Tour events to catch Korda. Furue finished 10th at the Toto Japan Classic.<br \/>\nKorda has won six times this year, including a major. Earlier this season she won five consecutive tournaments, tying the LPGA Tour record.<br \/>\nIt is the second consecutive year an American player has won the LPGA Tour\u2019s biggest prize. Lilia Vu won the award in 2023 thanks to her two majors.
