One of them is the Costa del Sol&#8217;s Atalaya Golf &amp; Country Club, located on the border between Estepona and Benahav\u00eds, which has received from the Association of Municipalities of the Western Costa del Sol the first Environmental Quality Seal based on the flora and fauna of the golf courses and its commitment to the environment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The president of the joint public entity, Manuel Carde\u00f1a, was accompanied by the mayor of Estepona, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Garc\u00eda Urbano, the mayor of Manilva, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Fern\u00e1ndez, and the director of Atalaya Golf &amp; Country Club, Andr\u00e9s S\u00e1nchez.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/andaluciagolf.com\/images\/024Act\/11-2-Sello-Calidad-Medioambiental-21-02-24-WEB.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Mancomunidad groups eleven municipalities in the western area of the Costa del Sol, including the towns with the largest number of golf courses in Spain, such as Marbella, Mijas, Estepona and Benahav\u00eds.
